I have found a bug where when you allow a gravel slab to fall onto a chest, it gets stuck in a falling loop and causes frame rate drops. It also remains unbreakable unless you allow another gravel slab to fall on top of it to combine them, which lets you mine the now still gravel block.
I would include a screenshot, but that is something i have never really used before, so i kinda mucked about through my files looking for it and couldn't find it. :/
Pretty easy to reproduce though, it has happened to me every time i tried it. (but i haven't tried it with sand slabs yet)

Re: Gravel slab bug when falling on a chest.
Can confirm, not really having the frame-rate impact he claims though.
Two feet standing on a principle
Two hands longing for each others warmth
Cold smoke seeping out of colder throats
Darkness falling, leaves nowhere to go
