New Release! (BTW V3.93)

Post by FlowerChild »

Version 3.93 of Better Than Wolves is ready for download!

Download Link

This release contains the following changes:

-Added *most* mod blocks and items back into the creative mode inventory.

-Changed all axes to be effective versus cocoa beans.

-Changed lighting on Dirt Slabs so they more closely resemble vanilla slabs with smooth lighting turned off.

-Changed the way Hoppers, Cauldrons, & Crucibles collect items on top of them. This required base-class edits, but should get rid of all the problems in 1.3 with entities falling through them. It should also resolve the old issue of players occasionally falling through them when walking on them.

-Fixed problem that was causing the game to crash when a Companion Cube was placed in the Mill Stone.

-Fixed problem with the Saw breaking if old wood slabs were placed in front of it.

-Fixed problem with the Stewing Pot inventory GUI being labeled as "Crucible".

------------------

Just a small release this time to correct a few issues with yesterday's version.

Enjoy! :)

Eh...the sun is overrated :)

I think I may have some kind of modding variant of Stokholm Syndrome. The update kept me hostage the past couple of weeks, now I just...can't...stop...working ;)

Eh, sun may or may not be overrated, but this is seriously impressive. I suppose impressive is just a norm for supernatural beings, in that case.

FC all your hard work is greatly appreciated! Even though you are well whatever you are. I will waste no time trying to explain you as you are far beyond my comprehension, but even as a supernatural being don't you need sleep? Or am I just a sadly misdirected follower of the great FlowerChild?

Thanks so much about this one, while building my 'wall of saws' for my mob grinder i died about 3 times because I fell through an axle I walked on and got stuck somwhere in the middle of my contraptions with no way out.

Oh wait, this is new :)

I did nothing to axles man, and had no idea there was a problem with them.

Oh then I'm not sure if it is fixed, doesn't happen that often to me usually (I tend to not walk on then usually) but during that time I glitched through them quite alot. Ah well, thanks anyway for your continued (inhumane) effort put into this mod. :)

edit: fixed the messed up quote.

I'm pretty sure that's what he meant by *most*. As in: excluding the blocks/items he had already disabled.

Jesus tapdancing Christ. A new update? This soon? You may or may not have a mental disorder. Might be Stockholms, but probably not.

Wow... Just... Wow!
You're really showing this update who's in charge ;)
I would tell you to take at least a few days off from modding as to not burn yourself out but Im quite convinced that you are capable of making those decisions yourself.
You're doing an awesome job and we love you for it!

AAAAAAHHHHH!!!! I CAN'T STOP!!!!! :)

Since putting out this release, I've fixed that planter bug that was reported, revamped the vanilla log and piston placement code because it sucked ass, and I just wrote some code to properly communicate the number of items in a stack from server to client when they merge so that the individual items don't look like they're just disappearing.

I do believe I may need professional help now ;)

Don't worry, FlowerChild...it'll go away in a few days.

Until then, I guess you could give us 3.9.3.5 :)

Calling all fangirls! For the sake of our beloved mod author, we must assemble and execute an action plan to drag him away from the computer, and hold him down with boobs if necessary until the self-destructive urge to code has left his fingers momentarily. Operation begins at 0530.

Remember, FC. Charlotte is in the trees, and she's coming to get you. :P

Oh man, YES! I liked the item stacking, but having them seem to disappear bugged the crap out of me! And the log placement was pretty annoying as well. Thank You!
