This is a full Conquest based texture pack for Better that Wolves mod made by Flowerchild. It has also the Deco Add-On support.

I notice in the ctm folder there is textures to make the vine traps look like animal skin carpet. How do we get this texture in-game? Also is there a non-cheating way to get many of the alternative textures created for Conquest?

they are biome specific for big hills and cold biomes. most of the alternative textures are included into my texture pack. try placing some double slabs around and see for yourself

Noticed the chairs textures weren't working.
Seems the name had been changed to all lowercase (eg. ginger_chair_birchWood to ginger_chair_birchwood)

hmmm! this is odd as the zipped-uploaded version on my PC doesn't have the lower case. it wasn't me here, someone else can confirm this, if is true, i'll get another site to upload.

yeah, as you guys may know, I make quite a bit of mistakes, and I screwed up some of the textures by capitalizing letters and not being consistent, but in the last update, I think that all of that has been fixed and none of them have capital letters in them anymore.

added the path textures to the swamp and fixed the swamp colours to merge with it. Also fixed the packed earth slabs to have the proper textures.

also the new animated CTM textures for gold block and obsidian ( it's the coal block). too bad that i can't have matchblock and matchtile rules :(

Oh of course. Sorry was having a sleepy moment there.
Did you find those block ID's?
I couldn't locate them either. I went to update my old dev environment to see what their ID's were in code but I seem to have lost it during a cleanout. The 1.5.2 MCP doesn't work with the new launcher layout and the old launcher will no longer connect to download the old layout.
I would love to help out as I love the work you have done for this TP, however unfortunately I am at an impasse.

I find that double slabs to be useless (because you have the whole block already) and replace them with alternative textures. I say double stone brick slabs :D

The column is snazzy!
Is there any plans to expand the swamp road to other biomes (or use overlay so that it can be used with biome specific colours?) I love me a dirt path.

Everything is so good. The only thing I would not use is the wicker, only because it is very busy and I already used it in large amounts on a ceiling

place more double brick slabs, you'll see that they are already with another texture.
there are path textures for all the biomes. Monsterfish made them all. i just don't know how people use the packed earth block, because with the CTM they need to be used alone without mixing with another blocks in road building, or the road would look strange.
wicker is an old nemesis of mine, so would be WIP until i can agree with a texture for it, still it need to be more or less like vanilla BTW.

thanks for all the feedback!
for the dirt slabs the problem is simple to fix, i just never used them after Fc implemented the gravity to them, so i forgot about their existence and i'll gave them some nice CTM. Remember that i play with better grass option so mostly the CTM of side grass is disabled ( deleted) on my version.
about the Path textures they can be implemented easily as i have a good matching colour.png for all of them. but again i really need feedback on how people make roads in different biomes.
For example the swamp textures were included only because i made a rule in my world to make roads in a swamp biome only with packed earth.in the rest of the biomes i mix gravel with packed earth and cobble, so the CTM from the path textures isn't really welcome.
again i don't play MP nor do i watch other peoples vids on youtube, feedback(pic) here is necessary for me to understand how players build around with this TP.

I usually run with better grass, however I started playing with the dirt slabs to make areas I wanted semi-dark safe:

The inconsistency bothered me, so I attempted to find a solution via CTM, found that there was no elegant solution without odd side effects, and turned better grass off for consistency.
I don't suppose you know of a good solution to this?

well the only good solution is to have mcpatcher make better grass work with grass slabs :). that means bugging khar!
what i can do is to add the random textures used for the grass block to the grass slab and snowed grass slab. that would make obsolete better grass option from mcpatcher because the properties rules would take precedence. let me work on it over the weekend!
