OK, here we go!!!
Lately i'm only playing with this TP, but i missed support for Better Than Wolves. So i decided to give it a try and make my "own" addon. I made good progress on the btwterrain and a WIP version of almost every block is already included.

Sidenote: Most of the BTW Blocks/Items/guis are remakes of Emperor Dooms originals.

Installation Instruction:

After downloading unzip the .rar with any archive programm (for example WinRAR).
Open up the Texturepack.rar you put into your Minecraft Texturepack folder (don't unzip it).
Drag and drop the btwmodtex and textures folder into the Texturepack archive.
Open the "gui" folder in the texturepack rar
Drag and drop the "icons.png" into the "gui" folder
Open Minecraft select the Texturepack and enjoy!

Great Job!!
Stewing pot and Hopper Texture don't work correctly, at the moment i have no idea why.
if anyone knows what to do, leave a reply.
The stewing pot, crucible, and hopper have messed up textures on the sides, so the texture for the sides needs to be continuous all around.

The stewing pot, crucible, and hopper have messed up textures on the sides, so the texture for the sides needs to be continuous all around.

I think this has to be my favourite for BTW, I generally rip the BTW half and run it with vanilla 128 textures from elsewhere, but kudos man I love it

I'm sorry, 32x won't fit the pack. It is meant to be viewed as a 128x, so 64x would be the lowest i would go.

Thanks for the texture it is great.

A huge thanks for the installation instructions. I know it is common knowledge to ppl who have been playing the game for a while, but to someone new like me it can be a little confusing how to get them working.

Hi, i am having trouble with the animations with this texture pack. Most annoyingly the water, lava, fire and neatherportal!

They work normally if i don't add your textures into the vondoomcraft_beta_3.6.zip.
I have followed your instructions but still having the problem

Hmm, i use a customized version with no animations so i don't know more about your problem. Only solution i can think of would be to repatch with mcpatcher, maybe download the latest version. I'm sorry, but i have no other idea what could be wrong.

Hmm i have downloaded the latest version of mcpatcher (the most up to date for mc 1.4.7) and tried again and sadly no difference

I would add pics but i don't know how...

I will give description instead :P

All fire is red writing
Flowing water has neatherrack skin
Flowing lava has pumpkins skin
Neather portal is just blue
The animations that come with vondoomcraft does not work, such as the diamond sword's teeth not moving
The animations of the windmill and such works fine

Everything worked fine when vondoomcraft updated to Beta 3.6 and your 4.52 version of the texture pack and the mod it's self was 4.57 (apart from compact earth but that was not in your pack at that point)

Ok, i managed to recreate your problem and also found a solution (yeah!).
It seems to be a problem with McPatcher, you can select every option except "Custom Colors". This solved my problem, let me know if it solves yours too and i add it to the op.

PS: to upload and show a photo/picture on a forum you need to upload it on any photo hosting site (for example Photobucket) and then post the code, a quick google search will give you a better explanation :)

You managed to recreate my problem perfectly!

I have now unchecked the custom colors option and now it works, had to get a clean install of the .minecraft file but everything now works

I had not much time to look at the new textures in 4.60 but i wanted you guys to be able to play over the weekend.

In other words I added "support" for BTW 4.60.

EDIT: ok, problem detected. I haven't found any way to change the fat display, this means you can't see your fat bar when you use a texturepack. Will reupload as soon as i find out how to.

The icons.png belongs into the gui folder in your Texturepack.rar, Fat level should now be displayed.
