Re: My single problem with BTW.
On the topic of anger: I think it may be the most useful (if bordering primitive) emotion that humans contain the capacity to express: Anger, outright blinding fury allows our bodies to perform physical feats far beyond our usual capabilities. I am still somebody that believes we should not desert t...

Re: My single problem with BTW.
They are growing meat in vats somewhere... I don't recall the location. Anywho, I express my sadistic desire to an immortal singular dictator of the galaxy by simply accepting and relishing in what I am when playing BetterThanWolves and indeed in real life. I can live with the knowledge that I'm a g...

Re: Theorycrafting: Steve, the black-hearted mad genius
From my point of view, the definitions of "good" and "evil (note the speech marks ;) ) come from the eye of the pansy stood there whining / crying / smiling at an action. You will agree with the actions of others, you will disagree with the actions of others. You have no place to dict...

But Raust, watching one of your dogs devour a clueless Zombie never ceases to bring a grin to my face! I think the new zombie variations is fine, but as others have said, drops should be considered for a lengthy period. Re: My single problem with BTW.
I think more poignantly, in every gain something has to be lost. In BTW to advance to steel you're constantly sacrificing different items, space, time, sanity. They all fall under the same umbrella. *EDIT* Calc, I completely agree. I struggle to understand why some people can get so immersed in cert...

Re: My single problem with BTW.
I think the controversy of BTW is what attracts so many. It's one of those mods that's a bit ballsy, indirectly (and directly) tackling issues that people are either a little squeamish about, or simply repulsed by. I think that although BTW may lose some of it's audience in the current direction in ...

Spoilered for those with religion that may find anti religious statements offensive. "Told them to stop" So is that why we had a succession of Pope's telling European Christians to go and kill as many Muslims as they could? Pope's are supposedly "chosen" by "god" are th...

*directly copied from my own thread* (I apologise if my description sounds like I'm trying to dumb it all down a little, but I want to explain in a fairly detailed manner, piece by piece so that new members / those not confident with redstone can follow.) This project sort of began with me wondering...

Re: Your Design Time (Tools and Thoughts)
Meh, my head is my canvas. I tend to think of things to test whilst trying to get to sleep, imagining possibilities and solutions. After realising I climbed into bed over four hours ago and have spent too long thinking / watching videos, I then fall asleep and forget everything I pondered on the pre...

Re: A different approach to a Soul Urn bottler.
Ah, with this design it's completely nether friendly and is actually surprisingly quick! A new urn is in place within mere ticks of the previous being filled, I've actually found it to be more reliable / easier to set up and understand than most of my previous block detector designs. But thanks for ...

Cheers man :) Didn't take as long as I thought it would. I made a rough first draft and my second attempt was this. Wiring could be a fair bit more compact, but I wanted to see what I was playing with before I let it run wild ;)

Re: New Release! (BTW V3.90)
I don't know whether this is specifically BTW related or perhaps something to do with BTB / The vat, but upon opening my inventory in Creative mode within my current or a brand new test world, I crash. Is anybody else experiencing similar problems?

Re: BTW or BTB
I played a little bit of BTB upon it's first release but then as updates went by I sort of forgot it's existence.. BTW offers its own challenges that can be remedied with some work by BTB. Unfortunately, BTB's increased level of difficulty (resource wise) brings with it it's own challenges. I imagin...
