Re: Does anyone use moulds?
Thanks for the feedback guys. After long deliberation I decided to give them the axe. I just can't justify the work that would be required to keep them around given how little people use them.

Fixed for next release. Moulds have been deprecated as discussed in the related feedback thread.

This wiki is user maintained. Not my department :)
It seems unlikely I would double up on the conversion methods from gravel to sand like that. As for the other thing, what are you trying to do?

Re: Placing crude torch on leaves crashes game
I can't reproduce it, but I suspect what might be happening are that leaves are getting burned away as the torch itself is being placed, causing it to lose its mounting block before being fully initialized. Regardless, I put in a sanity check for next release that should prevent that happening.

Re: Millstone deletes held item when logging out
Fixed for next release. So weird. There was literally no save mechanism for the item being milled, but an elaborate mechanism in place to convert the old millstone gui inventory appropriately :P

Re: Wither skeletons spawn with 2 height airgap
Fixed for next release. As an added bonus I get the impression that this results in a greater effective number of wither skeletons spawning, given a bunch aren't dying almost immediately (may require additional tweaking later).

Re: Wither skeletons spawn with 2 height airgap
This is actually a vanilla bug. I'll think about whether to fix it and how (I know precisely what's doing it but it's tied in pretty heavily to how vanilla spawning works).

Re: Powered Rails are Overcosted
By the way, there is something truly BTW about scouring the wilderness for native structures, plundering them for golden burial treasures of presumably high cultural significance, and melting them down to be crafted into even more machines to dominate and deform the landscape with. As an ecological...

Re: Powered Rails are Overcosted
Curious as to whether you were attempting to build rails in the overworld or nether? My last play through I was having no trouble building rails in the nether to cut down my travel time substantially.

Re: Steam Sales
One Hour One Life has a nice 50% off going right now as a daily deal on Steam. I've played a few hours of it so far, and while I can't speak to longevity, it definitely provides a unique survival experience that I think would appeal to BTW fans.

Ug. No, that's not right. Will definitely keep it in mind. It should likely be treated as an exploit.

Re: Guess who's back and blind let's play!
Welcome back Eriottosan! Good to see you :) On the install side you might want to consider installing some additional mods. Jeez dude... all of these are hardly necessary for someone coming back to the mod. Skin fix is pretty much exclusively a multiplayer thing. Map frames are hardly a central feat...

Re: Request to modify BTW-edited vanilla class to fix deco bug
Added for next release: FCAddOn.ServerCustomPacketReceived( NetServerHandler handler, Packet250CustomPayload packet )
I changed NetServerHandler.mcServer to public for simplicity's sake, but the server is also a singleton which can always be accessed through MinecraftServer.getServer() anyways.

Re: Blacksmith gold ore recipe feels eggregious
Changed ore trades (both gold and iron) to nuggets for next release. I had originally used ore for narrative purposes with regards to the blacksmith wanting a furnace to smelt his own ores, but given that it's a one way conversion from ore to nugget, decided it was too potentially punitive to people...

Re: Stone walls
Not an intentional gating, just something I hadn't gotten to adjusting to the newer mechanics yet. If I remember right I had put it off due to the need for falling-wall mechanics for a loose cobble version.

I'll take a look. For future reference please leave out the suggestion at the end. It's entirely unnecessary and usually just complicates an issue by biasing me against the proposed solution.
My suggestion related gag reflex still seems to be very much alive and well :)
