Re: Better With Renewables v0.23 for BTW 4.4 SMP

Hey guys, not sure if any of you use Uristqwerty's CraftGuide mod, but I just saw this in the changelog for his update to MC 1.4.6: -1.6.5.12 Include recipes for the serverside BTW mod "Better With Renewables". Only shows if a config option is set or if a message from BWR is detected on co...

Re: What is BWF?

Finally deciding to weigh in on this after reading both the threads at MCF, all I have to say is this situation is just despicable. Ripping off another's creative content wholesale and hiding behind technicalities as flimsy justification of juvenile self-entitlement is just disgusting to me. Like fo...

Re: MCPatcher and BtW

Yeah, sorry about that guys and gals, I guess either my testing wasn't thorough enough or I was just getting really unlucky or some other sort of sorcery was going on.

Apologies for the misinformation; I've updated the OP.

Also -WOOT!- RandomMobs again! :)

Re: Panda, may I use your stoked fire textures?

Sphax already has a stoked fire texture.

It's not an animated texture, but there is a single tile out there.

Check the Sphax web page in the mod support section.

Re: What is BWF?

I just wanted to toss my 2 cents here. I was going to stay out of it completely but my name came up. I have nothing to do with the creation of BWF. Well then, all apologies for bringing your name up undeservedly. It seemed logical to me at the moment, but on the other hand, I do watch your stream (...

Are you sure it's Java 6?

I thought it said Java 5 and PowerPC support was being dropped.

A little further along: PURE AWESOME I don't have the wood fences and benches in yet (that's next), but I thought the above was a nice little demo of the whole trestle idea proposed above. It sure does look purty ;) Ohmygreatgoodgod! That is sweet! Oh, I'm looking forward to playing around with tha...

Re: Flower's Dev Diary (Week of December 3rd)

Tables and Benches should probably auto-connect by "deploying" legs when placed on top of a fence of the same material type, regardless of whether they have neighboring tables, as it will facilitate those kinds of builds. Will add that to the todo list ;) Have I told you lately how awesom...

Re: Flower's Dev Diary (Week of December 3rd)

Yeah, I'm sure the combination of Tables, Benches, and fences for all blocks with sub-blocks is going to result in some very cool looking builds :) Hence why I was so keen on these couple of remaining sub-block types (Benches & fences). I find they round out the aesthetic options for the mod ve...

Thanks for this! I was wondering which options would work but didn't want to spend the time testing them. No problem, man. So, are you guys all playing the Steam build?

I'm on a Mac, so have been checking out the demo on Chrome, but I don't have much experience with that browser/store, so just curious.

Definitely wanting to pick this one up.

Sigh...late to the party, as usual. It seems that everything that needed to be said has been said. I'll just say that I play BtW because it feels more like vanilla than vanilla, and thus trust your design instinct implicitly. You've never steered us wrong in the past. MCPatcher and BtW

Hello, Everyone. I recently posted about this over in the MCF thread and thought that I might post it here, too, for those who don't usually wade through that quagmire. I did some testing recently of the MCPatcher texture features' compatibility with BtW, and I post the findings here to help with po...

Yeah, it's very cool that Uristqwerty added support for BTW, as this is one of the very few other mods I use. Massive props to him for taking the time to do this. As of CraftGuide 1.6.3, BTW recipe functionality is included by default in the main builds I feel like I'm a bit late in saying this, but I wanted to say thanks a ton for doing this. Re: New Release! (BTW V4.35)

Well, yes and no. I enjoy "fixing" the base-game design wise like with a lot of the recent hardcore tweaks. I find it very satisfying, and I think it has maximum impact in terms of bang for the buck. Well, as long as you're still having fun with it it's cool then. I'll keep playing it, as...
