Re: Good Lens layout for two-way long-distance comms?
Have you tried it yet? For me it didn't work. I think there needs to be a memory cell in there somewhere that uh... resets itself on the second push?

Soul Urns Carrying more than 8 souls
I'm not sure if this actually counts as a bug, but I put an urn underneath a powered hopper with a soulsand filter, dropped a stack of 64 ground netherrack in, the netherrack instantly filtered and the soul urn was filled. Again I'm not sure if this is a bug as I only just learnt that it takes 8 sou...

Re: Show us your builds!
With the upcoming update, who knows?
Really it's just because I wanted to fully automate the process.

Okay whilst probably not as impressive, I designed this little thing to cut down wood, mostly into gears: http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/6551/geartower.png http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/502/geartower2.png http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/8478/geartower3.png The wood/Planks/Siding/Moulding/Cor...

Re: Pandoku's Texture Pack (V0.9 Spring Time!!!)[3.58] Vmc 1
I'm not using a HD mod. And yeah, normal farmland's fine but when it goes darker (because of the neraby water) with hemp growing on it half of it goes all wierd.

Re: Pandoku's Texture Pack (V0.9 Spring Time!!!)[3.58] Vmc 1
A few small probelms. Stone steps are messed up, hydrated farmland shows up wrong and portals have no colour. Apart from that everything looks so much more beautiful. Although the Soulsteel armour now reminds me of Dead Space. :P

Does anyone know if cauldrons are rotatable? Rotatable milk-tossing villagers yay!

Re: How long does it take you to get through the tech tree?
Not sure how I'd set it up (I used wireless redstone in the pic), but this should avoid detection for a bit... Hopefully: http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/7638/hiddenwindmillopen.png http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/6808/hiddenwindmillclosed.png Of course by the time you have hemp fibres for the...

Re: How often to feed the Wolves in my Dung Farm?
Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but couldn't you just have all the wolves on one spot, atop a powered hopper, with a detector underneath the hopper hooked up to a meat dispenser? I'm assuming meat can't pass through the same filters as dung can. That way they're only ever fed after at least one has poop...

Re: How long does it take you to get through the tech tree?
I know for a fact the first thing I'd try and do is get some tnt and booby trap a windmill. Random variations of pressure pads triggering and pressure pads not being there (placing pressure pads on detector blocks wired up to not gates) should keep potential griefers away ;)

Re: Design Change Warning: Rotating Gear Boxes
Thing is that a gearbox only takes in power from one side so either the windmill or water wheel wouldn't be powering it, it's a one or the other situation. Unless flowerchild plans on adding a sort-of inverse of a gearbox, one output, many inputs? Of course, you could always run a seperate system fo...

Re: Aquaduct Attempt
Indeed, and if I was worried about such restraints I would definately take your advice. However, as it was creative I decided to go for aesthetics over practicality. Plus I found it humourous to rub it in how much Minecraft breaks the conservation of energy, self-powering systems anyone? :P Added a ...

Re: Aquaduct Attempt
I don't see your point :S Yes that was a feature request because I thought it'd be a useful addition. This, however is just an Aquaduct I built with an explaination as to why there's random water wheels etc. Really, I could of posted it without the explaination but I fealt it'd be better than having...

Re: Mob Trap, what am I doing wrong?
Vine Traps don't work very well for me either. Pigman I can confirm walk straight into them but zombies and creepers (hard to test skeletons) just try and find away around, to the point where if there is no way around they you stand there and stare at you.

Aquaduct Attempt
So I'm new here. I got to say I love this mod. I tried out building an aquaduct for practice when I try the hardcore bucket mode and was a little dissapointed at the lacking of a way to extend water streams beyond 8 blocks without losing height but hopefully this big update with have some sort of fi...

Water Acceleration Wheel... Thing
Well basically it'd be a more compacted water wheel in reverse. You hook it up to a source of mechanical power and if water runs into it from one side, it emerges the other as a full non-source block. Basically, it would allow water to travel indefinately along a flat surface, allowing for the const...
