Small screen 1 pixel = 1 block

This screen is made such that each button toggles a singe pixel in the screen. this is done by a X Y grid of lenses that when one X lens is turn ed off and one Y lens is turns off the detector block turns off signal and the block dispenser flips from black wool to a light block that powers another l...

Re: How's the HCB ice thingy working out?

The changes to ice are great and placing a torch near a lake edge in a frozen forest can be useful way to get running water if you spawn there. I was never a fan of HCB but I have grown to appreciate water a lot more since its introduction and can see that it adds a interesting puzzle to the game. H...

Re: the best designed minecraft blocks? (vanilla or mod)

I would have to nominate the gearbox and axle two blocks with a thousand uses. Both simple elements that can be used to build very complex and useful systems while keeping a level of realism to there function.

Re: 3D item drops. Yay or nay?

I don't get why it will be for fancy graphics if it will have minimal affect on fps then shouldn't it be the default or have its own option. I play with fancy most of the time so like it or not I'm stuck with it. It is nice to see where items are from above but this seams like a odd thing to fix whe...

Re: Tekkit v. BTW

Tekkit and Technic are not mods they are mod packs they contain a lot of different mods made by separate people / groups. I don't like how people think of them as "mods" because all they do is rework incompatibilities mainly be changing block numbers in configures. I would like to see more...

Long term bet solution is a faster computer. For now kill a few animals and mods or move there housing out of sound range to reduce the amount of sound generated.

A paper tube filled with gunpowder is high tech? Gunpowder, dye, paper, done. Yes working with highly volatile chemical compound is a cake walk and fyi they don't use a dye they use a metal for the color. Example http://i45.tinypic.com/2wo8u39.png from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fireworks

The rain sound is tied to the particles that bounce up from the ground. If you disable particles, no more rain sound.
