Re: Minecraft Augmented Reality
We were looking into this kind of thing a few years ago, then companies like Google announced they had been working on Glass for years (essentially half the technology) Figured at that point we weren't being innovative so much as connecting the dots of what was happening already, and late at that. B...

Re: 7 Days To Die: Better Than Giant Bees - 1.13 for Alpha 1
Actual feedback: Couches have a long burn time, are easily harvested and stack too much. I found that I stopped chopping wood to burn because I could easily stockpile couches from houses we were looting. When using the spiked club I was surprised that I couldn't use nails to repair it. First time se...

Re: 7 Days To Die: Better Than Giant Bees - 1.13 for Alpha 1
Got some good play in :D I am going to incite a "Haha Noob" but playing by myself I found it a bit too challenging. So challenging that an encounter while searching a house had my pulse racing so high I 'fear-quit' to let my adrenaline calm down. So basically I am now to scared to play it ...

Re: 7 Days To Die: Better Than Giant Bees - 1.13 for Alpha 1
Crap look at you go :D Can't wait to give this a proper go. Had a play last weekend with a mate but the map that generated had an enormous burned forest in the middle and you were guaranteed to spawn in it. I hate dogs so much more now! After getting nowhere but bottomed out wellness we gave up and ...

Re: 7 Days To Die: Better Than Giant Bees - V1.11 for Alpha
Yeah hives were added in 8.7 in a couple houses at the burned forest. Not sure if they got added to the random gen maps. I was pretty amused by the jar graphic too. I don't even eat the honey. It's more like a trophy to me. I bring it back to our pit and I'm like "here's all the hornets I have ...

Re: 7 Days To Die: Better Than Giant Bees - V1.11 for Alpha
Hurray you did all the hard work for me :D Glad you were able to give this game your Midas Touch. Looking forward to trying this out. Kinda sad about crossbows going entirely. My fantasies about being Daryl from The Walking Dead! :) The loot flattening on animals was something that bothered me from ...

Re: Show us your builds!
How is everyone managing such massive wheat fields without water sources? I had used planters and used CTM to make them appear as tilled soil when connected as a large body. Unless I'm mistaken, and I could be, wheat will grow without water, just very slowly. I know that is the case in vanilla and ...

Re: The BTSM/BTW divide
KSP, however, is not that way for me, and to put a ton of effort into a ship to have it fail miserably was extremely disheartening, and was the main thing that lead me to abandon the game. I was in a similar category to you. However this play through there are a lot of things like weight limits and...

Re: Fracking Lava
I think in my situation is was pure bad luck. 3 of us had canvassed an enormous amount of area searching for diamonds. The ravine that I mentioned I was sure would have diamonds. There was an enormous amount of caves winding through it around lava level. Took us a long time to get it and the caves l...

Re: Fracking Lava
Yeah our map we had trouble getting from iron to diamond. We had extensively searched around the caves around spawn (good for lighting them up:) ) but no diamonds. There was a lava level ravine and we dredged the entire thing with gravel and sand. Not 1 diamond. I would not recommend it. The amount ...

Re: The BTSM/BTW divide
I play and enjoy BTSM, however my time playing is limited and when I want to play something BTW always wins. Only when I burn myself out on it, I then load up KSP, try to go through the changelogs finding lots of changes (last time was when the early rockets were turned into bottle rockets) I think ...

I just put BTW for a little rest to play Beyond Earth after going hard at it for the last couple months.
Are you trying to give me an aneurysm?
My AR is crying out for me to go fix things like this path:

Re: Show us your builds!
Basically starting from a fully zoomed out map go out into its corners and create fully zoomed out maps. Those 4 maps will create a 2x2 map. Going to the outer corners of those maps and doing the same again will create a 3x3 map with the original map piece in the middle, and rinse repeat depending o...

Re: Building Timers Pre-Anvil
I have been attempting to think up a good way to do that aesthetically by having it appear like a traditional chicken coop. At the moment I still have the chickens in the first 'hole in the ground base' with said feeder and hoppers layering the floor. The animal farms will be pretty easy as the adul...

Re: Building Timers Pre-Anvil
I'm not a big fan of decay timers as they feel a bit cheaty in my book Well the process that Rob and I both described is 'like' a decay timer, however instead of the item decaying, the pressure plate picks up when the item gets consumed. With Robs example, when the food gets eaten off the pressure ...

Which was pretty much as I said :DRob wrote:But you can actually position a decay timer using the animal feed itself and a Redstone 5 clock. To keep chickens fed properly.

Re: Building Timers Pre-Anvil
I tend to use the feed in need as the timer.
Just set it up as you would any decay timer, and if you can spare the resources, a circuit to detect if the pressure plate has been without feed for a little while in case of pre-emptive eating before the feed hits the pressure plate.

Magicite - Rouge-like RPG
I have been playing a bit of Magicite. Its a fast paced 2d platformer rouge-like RPG with quick simple crafting.
Can be insanely hard. My first play I lived.. 10 seconds?
I recommend it :D
