I wonder why fish are attracted to the oysters. Is it their light green coloring or are they made of meat simular to that of zombies and bats?

It might be mojang's trying to shove the new features into the player's face. I don't like the idea of naturally generated overworld loot in nether dungeons. It feels too out of place. It's a big WTF to find a chest made of earthy materials in such a hellish dimension.

Whatever is in them may be some kind of cataylist for the creeper's explosion and reacts to both metal and crystals such as diamond. I know of no chemical though :/

It seems like in the new snapshot a few things have been changed. Zombies don't drop from the sky no more and pig zombies spawn zombies in the nether. Swimmingbird's video covers most or all of the new features. Gcv-rSxASnE EDIT: Swimmingbird given credit for his video to prevent any confusion ;).

Stick by the rivers and any bodies of water that will really take you places as your character exerts less energy when in a boat. Also try to collect any rare materials along the journey. This will spare any extra unneeded journeys from home that could have been avoided.

Someone has been very busy with making minecraft a whole lot better. The changelog made me pretty speechless about all of the anti-wolftastic deliciousness that you put out this update as well as all other updates. I now have a reason to go out and explore more.

Good point. I didn't think about that at the time I decided to start building the day/night sensor. I'm still a novice when it comes to BTW shortcuts in redstone gadgetry and pure BTW gadgets themselves.

It is an effective method of feeding chickens and whatnot, it does have a few limitations though. Since the device uses grass to grow in the daylight and die at night it's not too perfect with timing. Also, it might feed your chickens twice in one day.
