Hopper loading furnace carts

I know that very few people use powered minecarts these days, but here's the idea: If there is a furnace cart below a powered hopper, and coal is placed in the hopper, then the cart would accept the coal as fuel and move forward. If my wording isn't clear, picture the setup in which you can load sto...

Re: Usernames?

My uncle gave me the nickname "Bman" (pronounced bee-man) a while ago. My last name is Foley. This is the first and only username I've ever used. If there's a bmanfoley on another site, it's probably me :P

Re: Your computer desk?

Nah, that's just how it always is :P. I love my desk, but that area to the right is a VCR tape to digital converter, a cassette player to digital converter, and printer. My family uses those, not me. I just have to hook it up down here because my computer is the central "hub" of the house....

Re: New Release! (BTW V3.54)

Thank you for the bug-fix, FC. I probably say something like this every time you put out a release, but I really admire and appreciate your dedication to keeping this mod updated and bug-free. I've been having tons of fun with it. I really hope that some day I can do something more than type words o...

Re: Donuts Restore 1/2 a Hunger Unit

The thing that makes me choose bread over donuts is the saturation level (I'm pretty sure that's the word you were looking for, itamarcu) If you have a decent wheat farm, bread and donuts are no problem to obtain. Regardless of efficiency, I just can't stand having to eat incredibly often to keep my...

Re: nether portal adjustment

Build your first portal where you want point A to be, and go into the nether and back.

Now, go to your point B in the overworld, place your portal exactly where you want it, and travel through to the nether.

Connect the portals in the nether, you have travel

The companion cube is a replacement for wolves due to their awful AI at the time of implementation. It provides most of the benefits of having a wolf, with none of the drawbacks like being pushed into lava.

Nice farm designs!

Yeah, the wicker wall is great, too. I remember before glass panes and other such blocks, I had to make a line of back-to-back wooden siding to achieve the same effect for my hemp farm. The placement was so annoying >_<.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think oil deposits are directly tied to world seeds, so you might not get oil in that spot if you generate that seed again. I very easily could be wrong, however.

Re: Saw + fence = molding (or sticks)

I think the reason this never went anywhere is because FC said it would be a long, tedious process to implement all of the potential wood de-conversion recipes. I respect his decision on that. It doesn't seem like it would necessarily be a useful enough feature to be worth his time. However, I think...
