Re: Vanilla Minecraft News Discussion

The only thing that I personally can see being useful about the addition of the trapped chests (because as stated earlier, they were easy enough to trap with BTW) is the fact that you can place them directly next to a normal double chest, which does help maximize storage space.

Yeah, I use the item frames a lot... for clocks and to label production buildings. Other... than... that... beacons? Withers? I tried out the new snapshot, I don't see a whole lot worth using in it, I mean, I like the marble, but you took care of that already :)

Re: Trellis Bridges!

Thanks a lot Ribky! Now my shorts are sticky. What pack has such a beautiful starscape in it? That's the Derivation TP. That night sky is definitely what got me hooked on it. Not gonna lie though, that pillar bound spiral staircase definitely kicks some ass. So turnabout is fair play, good sir. Ver...

Simple. Efficient. Not too much trellis action going on, but I like it :) Right now it just goes between the village I'm building, a huge ravine I found nearby, and the foundation of the moated castle I'm working on. http://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/l604/Ribky/2013-02-28_034806_zps33677c4e.png

Re: Flower's Dev Diary (Week of Feb 11th)

Well you deserve them. You've kept a game interesting for a lot of people, myself included, that would've been shelved long ago. In a strange way, I'm looking forward to the end of BTW's development. It will give it a feeling of completion to transform it from an ever changing living art piece to a ...

Re: Flower's Dev Diary (Week of Feb 4th)

I think I just cried a little... those things already scare the piss out of me. And due to Mojang keeping them fairly useless with no incentive to kill them, I generally opt for the run like hell and let them get their stone orgy on. Crying, yes, but looking forward to what you've got cooking up non...

Re: Fighting the Wither without fighting the Wither

Well... one of the more hilarious ways to kill withers... Build one in The End. He'll piss off pretty much all the endermen as soon as he starts moving. You'll need to give the endermen a little bit of long range support at first to pull him out of the sky, but once he makes groundfall the endermen ...

I almost always end up pumping that first bellows by hand. Not by necessity or because I don't want to spend the time to set up an automatic timed bellows. I just like having that little bit of time in the tech tree to reminisce about grinding hemp. That little flashback to what things were. I mean ...

There's a few differences from what I can remember... which is not nearly enough to help out. But I can provide a couple friendly little links which might be of some assistance. I remember learning that lesson back in the day. All the villagers nearby learned that lesson too. Best thing is I realized what I had done before a few seconds the boom, so I got to experience all sorts of fun sensations like panic, fear and regret.

Re: Jokes & Beer

Need to know a little bit about Christianity for this one... but that's okay ;) So little Timmy was attending Catechism school around Easter, and the Sunday school teacher decided that it would be fun for all the kids to draw a picture of what Easter meant to them. She paced around the room and look...
