Ok, this has me really scared.
Will the silverfish infect player placed stone brick/cobble? If they do, then they have the potential to destroy my entire base :/

Is it just me, or are more skeletons spawning with enchanted bows?

I have to say, that is a very neat way of dealing with it!

My beacons as they are now. They're on top of my soon-to-be mobtrap and are grouped by type: metal, rock, mineral etc.

The steel beacon allows you to set your spawn anywhere, End, Nether and Overworld...

I believe dirt slabs let light through ;)

The one and only criticism of beacons I have is that they encourage old-style xp grinders, where the player punches glitching masses of mobs. Why auto kill mobs when you can kill them yourself and get double the loot?
Other than that, I love the beacons :)

As per title.

Not sure if it's intentional, but trap chests allow for extremely effecient storage rooms: the trap and normal chests can be placed next to each other. You can effectively have a wall of chests.

Just as a note on the 20 min grow time on cows: cobwebs can slow down the fall of a cow until it is ready to be killed.
