Re: Research Bench Add-On -Help needed writing item descript

Love the concept, especially with the BTW-esque descriptions. Being able to send a new player into Better Than Wolves blind and say "Go forth and discover" is just priceless. :) I wish I could contribute some descriptions but I'm afraid my experience with BTW is horribly outdated. I'll pro...

Ouch. When you see them all lined up like that, it makes for a pretty damn grim picture indeed. You're one tough bastard to have pulled through all of that. :P

Re: Arg, fuck, kill (ranting at cpw)

If they want to do something about it, that's great, and I may even lend a helping hand under such a scenario, but really, from this point forward: it's on them what they let happen. They'll be the ones to evolve in this community, so it's only natural that it would be up to them to fight for it. Y...

Re: Steam Sales

I totally missed that sale yesterday. It was in the cart, and then the sale expired as I was checking out. Since I saw your post from yesterday, I've been keeping an eye to vote for Xcom. There's still plenty of time left anyway. Edit: Funnily enough, the current games up for voting on steam are 3 ...

Re: Pours one on the curb for Don't Starve

It's impressive how most players don't even see "throwing balance out of the window" as a problem. :P
But now I don't really know when I'm supposed to pick up this intriguing game if I want to play the real/as intended DS experience.

Re: Scrolls...ok, wtf is going on?

And after 2 successful trades I was unexpectedly challenged and faced my first human opponent. The playfield was quickly littered with memorials. Memorials of all colors, as far as the eye can see. I knew something was coming, but my lack of experience was preventing me from knowing what. Then a gre...

And seems like you're not busy with some mod [...]
Obviously, it's not like you're finalizing some very complex overhaul mod or anything... LOL!
I hope you can help us!
I wouldn't hold my breath on that one! Thanks for sharing, Flowerchild.

Isn't it weird that there's still no option to buy gift codes? Would have been pretty useful earlier this week.

Wow. Color me surprised, because I am. I kinda expected crap and what I saw in that video seems pretty good and intriguing. On one side, I'm a huge fan of that kind of game. On the other side, it's made by Mojang. I'm kinda torn here.

Technically on sale, Skyward Collapse was released just a few days ago. Don't expect pretty graphics or fancy animations, but the gameplay is a heck of a lot of fun.

Tell me about it. You reach the download page, but there's 5 download buttons/links... and they're all fake! The real link is a small "Download" hyperlink in the bottom of the page. It's ridiculous.

Re: Is it a bad thing?

I've seen a few cases like this over the years. Best cure is simply to take a break from gaming. You'll be busy for quite a while anyway with other stuff, but when things cool down after that, you'll get the hitch to play again and you'll be back on tracks.

EDIT 2: How similar is AI War Fleet to Sins (of a Solar Empire)? AI War is closer to something like Total Annihilation (or Supreme Commander 1) in space, with an added focus on what technologies you choose to unlock with your research, how you use them and a galaxy-wide guerrilla style warfare rath...

There's currently a massive sale on Steam with around 18 pages of games to choose from. But among all those titles, I feel the need to bring attention to one particular game: AI War Fleet Command . Such a great RTS with so many options and valid tactics. Not to mention, a ferocious AI opponent that ...

Re: How to be a productive member of the community.

Quantity vs Quality. In my opinion, a few good posts is better than tons of one-sentence posts that don't bring anything new to the table. If anything, it just shows that you have some good self-control when it comes to posting on these forums. I was about to suggest a few ways to contribute to the ...
