Re: Modded Succession game interest check
As for rules... 1: Play offline always. It would be an absolute pain if only one member of the succession game could make wolves move around, and this way we avoid this multiple-username bug in doggy talents I haven't been able to fix yet. It's completely baffling. Basically, we all play offline, a...

Re: Modded Succession game interest check
I guess that would be a good idea, but some of the config files are not on the config folder, like BTW config, so don't forget those Yeah, I considered that, and I put them in the download too. Here's the config stuff. If you download all the mods I listed and then apply those config files, it shou...

Re: Modded Succession game interest check
Alright, I just installed all of the mods: Doggy Talents Somnia Mo' Creatures Equivalent Exchange Buildcraft (full) Industrialcraft2 Better Than Wolves RecipeBook Dynamo They seem to work properly, though I obviously don't have the time to really really really test it. As for the IDs, should I put m...

Re: Modded Succession game interest check
Hey, does anybody know which, if any, of the minimap programs are compatible with forge? Also, I vote in favor of using one, just to avoid getting hopelessly lost in a way that isn't fun.

Re: Modded Succession game interest check
Sounds excellent! When you say electricity, do you mean the stuff from industrialcraft, or redstone power? That's IC power. 2 EU/t to be exact Ah. I've never used IC myself, but I've seen LPs that have. Honestly, I'm sure you guys would do much much more with the "forge" mods, let's call ...

Re: Modded Succession game interest check
I'd like to play too... I've been putting off playing MC SSP until the final version is released, but I guess that would be fun. Also as personal bias I guess, could you add my mod to the list? :P Sounds excellent! When you say electricity, do you mean the stuff from industrialcraft, or redstone po...

Re: Modded Succession game interest check
Here's what I'm thinking: Better than wolves, industrialcraft, equivalent exchange, Doggy Talents, Somnia, Mo' Creatures... Those are the main ones I have in mind. I'm open to more suggestions. I guess I am in for a go with these mods, but any chance we can add buildcraft to it? Absolutely! How doe...

Re: Modded Succession game interest check
This was attempted before - there was a bit of an issue with worlds getting corrupted due to different mod set ups. So if you want to do this, you should make sure everyone is using the same block IDs and things like that. Thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure everybody has the same settings! One...

Re: Risugami's Recipe Book Support Idea
well correct me if I'm wrong, but: If someone were to make a quick mod which 'adds' the fake items to the game, and 'adds' the recipes themselves, it could be done without modifying any of the BTW code, I think; beyond adding the new items, the recipe thing itself can already be done with zombe's m...

Re: Risugami's Recipe Book Support Idea
First I have to say that I don't dislike your idea in general but FC doesn't add stuff for interaction with other mods ... so that's probably a NO. Ah. See, I wouldn't really call the recipe book a "mod", more of a staple, handy in-game tool, so I figured this would be an exception. Am I ...

Risugami's Recipe Book Support Idea
Why not make "fake recipes" for each of the non-workbench recipes in your mod? What I mean to say is, you would add some items to the game that are unobtainable, such as one called a "put these in the cauldron" or a "do this on an anvil" or a "full turn of the turn...
