Re: D&D Adventurers UNITE!

Oh she had many worse punishments for those who tried to play God (or leave the table without asking). One guy was hypnotized and made to self castrate himself yet still live on with the affliction ;). I learned what my fate would be if I dicked around, having my feathers plucked out one by one >.>

Re: D&D Adventurers UNITE!

We started out at a gestalt level 5 yet our DM managed to kill off our characters left and right ;) add in situations and obstacles that can't simply be overcome with stats alone (racial tension, abilities that basically act like stat walls, ect.) And throw in tougher monsters that require teamwork ...

Re: D&D Adventurers UNITE!

Having varied events and not solely relying on stats but the players own ingenuity is a bonus. Also if you're running it with a few more people be prepared for some crazy shit to go down. In one group I was in, we had what we called the tower of tiny men. I was a gnome, sitting on a dwarfs shoulders...

Re: Best biome to settle in. (SPOILERS)

Hmm I'll keep that in mind next time I find an ocean or lake. Still wary though ;). As for bridges with the combination of Speed boost, Sinking in water while wearing armor, and our tentacled friends I'd much rather build a bridge before trying to swim.

Re: Best biome to settle in. (SPOILERS)

It's very odd then as I've explored the Taiga I'm in extensively and haven't found a single one. Edit: Scratch that I'm in a tundra not Taiga. I normally think of them as just snowy forests :p Mountains/extreme hills I like because usually the lowland areas are fairly flat and tend to gather small l...

Best biome to settle in. (SPOILERS)

With all of the changes to survival in certain biomes (Spiders, and Witches, and Hatsies oh my!) it's become a bit of a struggle finding the perfect place to settle down. The safest biomes in general tend to be Plains, Mountains, and Taiga even if they're all fairly sparse for resources. Forests, Sw...

Re: Really addicted to pokemon again...

Its more of the way they're implimented rather than the idea itself. Being able to interact with and use your pokemons abilities outside of battle is great and I always like the idea, but HMs are rarely any good in battle itself, prevent pokemon from being transfered, and in some versions can't even...

Re: Really addicted to pokemon again...

Yeah I tend to just put legendaries all in one box and never touch them again. They're solely for collecting since you can't breed them.

Nope, there is no way for Mew to learn Mean Look. There's no Tm or move tutors that teach it ;). However Smeargle can copy all of those moves but that would require going back a couple games or trading to get one :p.

Re: Really addicted to pokemon again...

I do not believe there is a single pokemon that can learn all those (hard enpugh finding one with false swipe and sleep) but its fairly easy to set up a team. The best method I've found so far is to have an extremely high attack based pokemon with false swipe and then somthing to apply all the statu...

Re: Really addicted to pokemon again...

I haven't really worried too much about the medal box, mostly just leaving it as a passive thing to do as time goes by although I always love extra side content in the main game that really has nothing to do with the rest of the core game :). Atm I'm IV breeding/ trying to make perfect pokemon while...

Really addicted to pokemon again...

Soooo yeah the new versions come out next month and I got Black 2 for my birthday this year. Re: New Release! (BTW V4.8914)

Keep in mind here that I just changed the creation method and added in a few effects. I didn't touch the behavior of them at all, and will unlikely do so. I've largely been pretending golems don't exist, as I've never really liked them, but someone pointed out the other day on MCF that their recipe...

Re: New Release! (BTW V4.8914)

I'm glad about the Brewing stand change, add's another step into potion making and makes more sense than the witches having no way to make potions in the first place. Oh and I tried out the Golem changes as well and did a little testing, so yeah Iron Golems are pretty Badass and Snow Golems are stil...

I have to agree wholeheartedly with the early game changes highlighting the awsomeness of automation even more.
