Re: [NON-WHITELISTED] Wpn's SMP
You might want to clarify that the server is not 4.7. The link given in the OP implies it is. Unless you meant to update but haven't, yet.

Re: 4.69 Gameplay Balance Discussion Thread
As far as early game and profression, I see no no issues. The only things I think still need work are dinners and milk. I've never made dinners except to try them out. Your earlier post about using the nether to find villages means that it is almost certain that by the time we find two-three village...

Re: Welcome to Edolas (Server information)
Thanks man. Yeah, Ion and his family hooked me up with a bunch of stuff. I haven't automated anything, yet (exepct the mobtrap). Ion let me harvest some of his crops so I could start my own. The mobtrap is just for bonemeal so I can speed up growth.

Re: Welcome to Edolas (Server information)
Also, there is now a chest in the Nether hub half full of stew, free for everyone! :D
I'll keep filling it and eventually have a double-chest full.

That sounds fun. I like farming crops and such. Makes me reminisce of playing Harvest Moon.Six wrote:Pumpkintown always welcomes travelers! I've got a lot of my semi-automation down already, but there's several buildings I'm still needing to make, like a good foodhouse.

Re: Welcome to Edolas (Server information)
Im on vacation at the moment. But feel free to poke prof ion for an invite. Okie doke. :) Thx for accepting me. Just to throw it out there, I'll probably start off getting myself set up enough that I don't have to mooch off anyone. Then, I'll look around and see if anyone is working on anything and...

I would like to be whitelisted. (I'd say more but the OP states I will be pm'd so I can answer any questions then)

Re: [4.67][Fuzzy Bunnies - Whitelist] BTW Official Co-Op Ser
I would like to be whitelisted. I would first build up a sustainable food-source / base (so I don't need to mooch), but I'd really like to work with others and help them with building and possibly gain some inspiration for my own buildings. I've automated everything except carrots/potatoes and overw...

Re: How far are you?
What's the best low-tech mob farm design? Using the spoiler features of one of the newest updates (which I won't name outside a spoiler thread) and a water channel that feeds to a small killing room for you to punch them to death. Sunlight? You'll still have to handle the creepers, which may be dif...

Re: Vanilla Minecraft News Discussion
The first thing that hit me when I saw the zombies spawning zombies thing was accelerated mobtrap output. I don't know how saws work in the code but it seems they might be able to trigger this.

Re: How far are you?
The one thing we still refuse to do though is try to take over the Nether. Out of our last 6-7 trips there, all ended with at least one of us dying. I learned the hard way to watch where I'm running when punching a Ghast to death... Let me just say, losing all the steel we had (in tool form) to a n...

How far are you?
Thought it would be interesting to see how far people have gotten up the tech tree since 4.66. I just got sfs the day before yesterday and just found my first non-abandoned village with potatoes. I'm currently trying to find my way back to my last portal through the nether. I'd prefer to know about ...

Re: 4.66 Spoiler Discussion (SPOILERS...no shit)
In regard to oysters, I've tried crafting them with red shrooms and spider eyes. Nothing. Though, I still think there might be something there. They all have the similar attribute of harming the player when eaten so I think they may be all used together for something.

Re: 4.66 Spoiler Discussion (SPOILERS...no shit)
Creeper oysters don't seem to be an alchemy ingredient. They won't brew at all. I haven't tried cooking with them, yet. I'm a little nervous to put them over a fire.
Anyone else find anything new on them?

Re: Vanilla Minecraft News Discussion
I don't really see the point. Just don't look at the boat while you eat. I've never accidentally dismounted my boat/minecart. I don't see it as a *bad* thing, mind you, but I also don't see the point. Also, I kinda hope they allow you to break your boat while in it, still. I always bust my boat with...

Re: Desert Temple Loot
That's loot, too, I guess. I admit, I do use the stuff to help level mountains out a bit as I expand my village.
However, I don't think that would be enough to make me excited about finding one and it wouldn't make much sense for there to be a trap that is guarding nothing.

Re: Vanilla Feature court - Session 1 - Analog Redstone
The way FC is asking us makes me think he's not excited about what this adds to the game. If this is the case, I suspect it should just be forgotten, so FC can keep working on things he's excited about. However, really considering it, it seems to me more like adding complexity/realism for the sake o...

Re: Desert Temple Loot
What would be the point of finding a desert temple and risking death by esplosion if there's no loot in the basement? They're an incentive to exploration. They don't give anything that allows you to skip part of the tech tree. If there were seeds or carrots or potatoes in the chests, I could see a p...

Yeah, after I found my chickens gone for the third time, I've decided to not keep any until I can get the willpower together to make a secure chicken coop. On another note, does anyone know how HC lactation works? Tried searching for it, couldn't find anything. None of my cows have produced any mil...
