Re: Hardcore Info stories
I started playing more and more Anarchy lately, and when I played yesterday in Jaded's server I got lost at least 4 different times with Iron tools, watches, some valuable materials and sometimes full Iron armor. Whenever I understood it'd be hard to find my base again or I was about to starve to de...

Re: Morvelaira's News Compilation
Ewww. I second you, Anarchitect, that's one ugly Anvil. The idea of using the BTW anvil in traps has occurred to me before, but just like what they plan on doing here: Why? Does it make any more traps possible? It's not regeneratable unlike most piston/lava/drop fall traps. It's not easy to create l...

Re: Mobs' Interactions with The Nether Portal
I think players will just disable their portals when they aren't using it, and re-enable it when they go back. It sounds far easier than constructing a trap around the portal, and as long as it doesn't output at the same rate as a normal pigmen farm players just don't have any reason to do it.

I just noticed the IP in my list was the wrong one (jadedragonrealm.co.uk, fix me if I'm wrong). When I corrected it to jadedragonrealm.com, I found myself in an other server. Do you have 2 servers? :~

Based on Samorost's great design:
Bellows - Every bellows stokes a 3x3 area, which can only stoke one corner of the 4x4 square. The minimum amount of bellows you need is 4.

Re: [4.20] Jade Dragon Realm (Anarchy) Updated
A suggestion to Jadedcat: Since you have a weekly (monthly? daily?) bounty, whoever has the bounty on his head would be a bit more afraid to play in the server than usual, in some cases. Why not give the player a reason to play more in those times? For instance, give him the reward if he manages to ...

Re: Likely changes to F3 and its implications
All in all, I agree completely with the removal of the "magic GPS" and other cheat-like features from f3. And with the recent update including stakes, the majority of the legitimate functionality of f3 was in fact replicated in a much more logical manner. However, there is still one issue...

Put two stakes at least 1 block away from each other, make sure those blocks aren't occupied my vegetation, torches or other blocks, make sure the stakes are in a straight line from each other, and face the far stake while clicking on the close one with your string.Glace1221 wrote:I can't get my stakes to work. Re: Design Discussion: Gear Box Placement
I don't mind the removal of the optional mode, but I still don't think rotating the gearboxes completely solves the problem. Almost always you have to go back after you placed all of the gearboxes and rotate them all, which usually involves destroying blocks to get back. IMO the best option would be...

Actually, you can make sticks out of sidings now - so 135 Grates = 540 mouldings = 135 planks.
And 1 log = 4 planks.
So here's the correct amounts (I think):
135 gears = 8.4375
135 Grates = 135
540 Sidings = 270
Together: 103.359375 logs. 104 logs.
Glad to help! :)

Two...what do people in hunter-gather societies typically eat? Fish, fruits/berries, meat (in certain tribes it's human meat). But IRL the meat you get from one animal is enough to feed a whole family for a few days, while in Minecraft it's barely enough to feed Steve for one day. What about raisin...

Bug report!
When you shift-click Cotton armor, since it is stackable, if you shift-click a stack of 2 or more clothes you will "wear" both.
