Re: My Elitest SubForum (oh joy!) :)
I think we need to think bigger. Life itself should have an IQ test, not simply the forums. Just imagine, FC, a world without morons. Oh, what humanity may accomplish... I somehow began hearing the sound of marching boots and calls to arms as you were saying that man... I don't think I'm quite read...

Re: My Elitest SubForum (oh joy!) :)
I was referring to the MC as the peasant board (poor word choice I guess) I know and accept that I am not an elitist swine. And that there is a separate board for them Actually, that's what I was talking about too. The OP in the BTW thread on the MC forum gives them a link to come here to this site...

Re: My Elitest SubForum (oh joy!) :)
Seems like a pretty good idea, the few trolls who post here will be kept on the peasant board that nobody cares about. Also, While you are able rule over this place with an Iron fist, does that mean the MCforum thread be deleted, or will it just be left unattended and be allowed to become more of a...

Re: How Mod / Code updates are made (in general)
Yeah, they did say they were gonna give out the mod API to a select amount of modders. I'd like to bet that flowerchild is a very good contender for getting acces to it, seeing how his mod is the first and only mod that has ever been even acknowledged by notch, let alone "featured" on one...

Re: Hey Flowerchild!
Sorry guys. Going to lock this thread. Having a "Hey FlowerChild!" thread, while totally appropriate when the forum first came online, is way too distracting to just have laying around indefinitely ;)

Re: BTW: Design Philosophy
Guys, you are practically bringing me to tears here. It is so fucking good to see an intelligent conversation about the mod going on like this instead of the usual "troll...troll...troll..." "STOP IT!!!!" <silence> "troll...troll...troll..." cycle that has been going on...

Re: Potential List of Discarded/Discussed Feature Ideas
Oh yeah, and I already announced that they'll be a new recipe for the Block Dispenser in the next release that will use less Mossy Cobble, and that I'd be changing a number of recipes in the mod to use smooth stone instead of cobble as well.

Re: Potential List of Discarded/Discussed Feature Ideas
Just a couple of clarifications on your list (which I think is a great idea btw): The Lens/Laser/Light Detector/and focused redstone torch are all part of the same integrated design now, which is: The Lens. The Fence Gate is still a possibility (but a very low priority). Everything else in the poten...

Not sure if FC has done this but heres a cool idea. Since Flowerchild has made the mod I want to see him make something TRULY epic with it. You can use other mods as well. :D Hehe...I just don't have the time while working on the mod man :) While accidental, I think the most epic thing I've made us...

Re: Questions for Flowerchild
Matta, you may not have noticed, but you're not part of the peasantry ;) To answer your questions though: 1) It's the way ModLoader operates in overriding the textures already built into Minecraft. You basically override them with individual texture files. There's no way to use a single file as you ...

It's a nice dream... but for some reason, deep down, you feel ashamed for having it.

is there any way to tell you've been added? or will be anyway to tell you've been added? If you have the option to post on that SubForum, then you've been added. NOTE: These no longer apply. Please consult the newer thread for current forum rules. Re: Windmills vs. Waterwheels
If You Don't Want to Maintenance Your Windmill then all you need to do is add a roof over the blades (it only needs to be one block wide) and then you don't need to worry about how the rain breaks the mill, and you can have all those pretty colors swirling around in a circle!! Re: General Help
I have a question concerning the windmill. I read that ALL gear boxes connected to one will break when it rains/snows. Can placing blocks above the windmills so said weather effects dont land directly on it stop this? If not I really dont see a point with windmills for mechanical power use. Not tha...
