The only problem I can see about that is that you will have to come back to your old spawn area when you wan't to acces the End. Also, it will already be conquered. You'll have to move your spawn point *before* generating the new terrain (i.e. stepping through the portal) for stuff like abandoned villages and looted temples to work at 100%. If you can do that, I don't know, but otherwise you risk getting a normal village or temple right in the area of the chun...

if its just one or two it shouldnt be too hard, some leather armour and a bow should be enough, as long as you can dodge its attacks. if you can get ahold of some fire resist potions then they are basically flaming flying puppies.
