Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

Sorry for the slight off-topic, but KSP is now 40% off in Steam, for anyone who hasn't bought it yet!

Re: Better than Horses (No Alligators please)

Sorry for a stupid question, but do you have any link or thread that provides a comprehensive information about it? I seriously don't understand anything. All I know that horses emit particles and if i castrate a male horse he wont be emitting particles any more.

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

I also looked up into KSP forums and there was this balanced tech tree that everyone seemed so happy about of a guy named Yargnit. The first thing that I wanted to know was where are the probes and pods located into the TT. Guess what was at the start. The guy even wrote a reply in the thread: Yeah...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

Sorry for the bump, but there are some things that I'd like to say. I tried Vanilla with a bunch of mods installed to provide a deeper gamepley (kethane, remote tech, deadly reentry and ioncross life support), and here is how it turned out, Flowerchild, you were absolutely right, the Deadly Reentry ...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

And Icy puts out the first BTSM vid ever! WOOT! :) I think he amply demonstrates that many KSP players do not realize rocket balance is a thing ;) Wow... I felt so superior with my balancing knowledge in watching the video, mwahahahaa. I was like this also once, but frankly, it was even more fun to...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

snipitty snip snip Now that you explained it it makes much more sense to me, and made me even more excited about this. The same design for probes was getting somewhat repetitive and made the whole science-acquiring-thing a bit of a grinder. The game itself has so much potential in it, but I don't r...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

Marvelous! Can't wait! I didn't play the original tech tree so I decided to give it a go. The experiment click-spamming is very annoying. As well as the fact that orbiting and flying around the lower atmosphere was rendered pretty much useless. Instead I could go to Mun and back with tech 2. Bah. Wa...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

so today i finally completed tech 5 using this baby on a low polar orbit on the mun(obs: don't go lower the 8k on the mun or you may hit a montain) http://i.imgur.com/pSOghKH.png note: before this mission i did not have the landing tech btw is the mod balanced to what tech level atm? Tech 5 iirc.

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

Ah, 100 Science points. What to do with them? Having a dilemma between Advanced Flight Control and Space Exploration. Won't decide just yet. BTW: How did you do it and what were you missing? Knowing that would likely help me with further balancing. Um, I don't recall now but i think it was goo.. Yea...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

Well, after throwing three quick designs together with that tech, I failed to achieve orbit with each, so while I'm sure I could eventually do it if I played around some more with it, I wouldn't consider it easy enough to be viable for most players at this stage, at least not without resorting to e...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

Also keep in mind that orbit is not really feasible without a node or two purchased in tech level 4, so if you're before that point, you probably shouldn't be aiming for it in the first place :) This is my current tech. http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x359/erap23/TECH_zps96b9c61a.jpg?t=13833414...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

Gods. Spent the whole day figuring out how to create an orbit for my satellite without SAS and decouplers. I even tried sequentual exploding with RT-10 solid boosters, like Scott Manley did it here. ZNXTFj3ozNY Once or twice I managed to make into orbit, but there wasn't enough fuel to do a burn. Ca...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

Thank you for this wonderful mod. You made me play it all night. But I'm seem to be stuck at tech 3. I don't know how to get science other than by measuring temp, pressure or using that gravity-thingy. But now they are obsolete. HALP

I was quite excited about it, but the ending for me was a bit "meh". I wanted to see a bit more interaction between Jesse and Walt.

Re: Day One: Gary's Incident

Yeah, caught my interest too, but would like to know is it worth buying. Because I almost bought Citadels recently, which by developer videos seemed a nice game, but it turned out to be unplayable, with lags, fps issues, A.I. couldn't even be compared to AOE's A.I. with all the pathfinding issues, n...

Re: New Release! (BTW V4.62)

Marvelous release! Minecraft now truly some survival aspects I've always wanted! Thank you. On a side note, regarding the HC iron, are you planning to do something about recipes like saw or the screw? Making farms involving many saws now will truly be challenging... Edit: without a mob farm, that is.

While it is true that smoking is kinda expensive, but if one does not mind the "strong" stuff, you can go for cigarillos "mini cigars". they are quite a lot cheaper than regular smokes. On a side note, are you sure the city is called " Vecht "? Since I could not locate...

Re: France or Germany?

Hmm. Now I am lingering more towards Germany... Although the uni that I would go to in Germany is apparently is in a relatively small town (Vecht) in the middle of nowhere, however in France, I would study in the University of Gules Verne. Which I find more prestige.

Well, I can't actually speak very fluently in German. If would still take any chance by speaking English there. Although I have heard some stereotypes about French and that they dislike speaking any other language. Well I have been to France before, can't say that I totally agree with that. Also Ger...

France or Germany?

Hey guys. So I've got this opportunity to study as an exchange student in one of many Europe's universities. I am studying English philology with German as a second language. So I have revised my options and I can't choose between France and Germany. There are numerous pros and cons in both of them....

Re: Best videogame story?

It must be the whole Dead Space franchise (games, films, books). I seriously got very carried away with the whole marker thing, just amazing. How it affected politics, science and people. Too bad the EA had too much influence on it, would have been better.
