Re: Game crashing when opening world.

Here is a mediafire link to my world.

I found a weird chunk error near my base, next to the in-progress windmill, I have to go to work but I'll try deleting that when I get back.

EDIT: Nevermind, went ahead and did it! It worked! Thanks for the help, guys! Thanks a ton!! =)!!!!

Game crashing when opening world.

I experienced a memory-related crash on my computer about a week ago and my survival world has been seriously affected to the point where it will crash the game when loading. Other worlds do not cause this problem. I made a backup but I am afraid it was post-crash and doesn't seem to prevent the pro...

Re: Your favorite weather

I really like big, loud thunderstorms that last all night. I'll crack open a window and just appreciate the noise and rain and lightning and thunder.

Even better if there's a small modicum of "danger" or novelty to it.

Unfortunately I'm still getting used to my own CPAP mask, so I can't offer too much advice. I feel your pain though, wouldn't be so bad if the insurance company wasn't breathing down my neck about using it enough. =S

Are there timing based puzzles like in the first game? Just trying to gauge what kind of difficult it will be: The fun thinky kind or the frustrating twitch reflex kind. Might be a good idea to put that answer in spoilers, though.

Re: BTW Mempries as 4 Year anniversary aproaches

My favorite memory is probably back when Hardcore Hunger was implimented, and due to the tight rules about spoilers I didn't find out about Hardcore Health until after a Creeper blew up on me and discovered I was blind, feeble, and couldn't climb full blocks. I managed to use slabs to get out, all w...

Re: The Stomping Land

Just to clarify, if you're not a huge ass paleo nerd like me and/or it doesn't bother you, more power to you. I'm not saying it should bother you, and I don't mean it as a big criticism for the game, just that for my interests, it's turned me off the game. (For now.)

Re: The Stomping Land

Because one of those things is an intentional change or concession for gameplay and the other is poor research.

It's the difference between Giant Alien Robots What are Vehicles existing and Egypt and Jordan suddenly sharing a border, for example.

Re: The Stomping Land

Unless this game turns out to be fantastic I gotta say the dinosaur/pterosaur inaccuracies kind of turn me off on this.

I mean, look at their Gallimimus, no feathers? Pronate wrists? Come on, man, this is basic stuff.

Looks like I'll have to make an extra-special cake for this anniversary. I will have a hard time waiting for Return to Home, but it will definitel...

On the bright side, with so many board game movies being made, we could end up with something like Clue again.

Re: Extra Dye Colors for Deco Add-on

I'd like a nice lavender, or some kind of purple that's a little less bright and more subdued. Maybe a dusty blue or a nice medium green, too.

I'd just like some more subdued colors in general, but I really want that lavender.

Totally agree with Jake, it took me a little bit to fully absorb all the changes, but these games are great! I do not believe there is a single pokemon that can learn all those (hard enpugh finding one with false swipe and sleep *cough*smeargle*cough* Sceptile can't learn mean look, but Grass Whistl...

Re: Really addicted to pokemon again...

I ran through the Elite Four with Emboar, Ampharos, Swoobat, Aggron, Jellicent, and Ferrothorn. One thing I will say is that though it was "easier" to defeat Team Plasma this time around, it was so very satisfactory to crush them beneath my heel. Crushing White Kyurem in two turns was just...

I'm totally in the same boat, I've been playing through White 2, and man, there are just so many things to do still! I love it!

Filling out the Medal Box is going to be mad fun.

And there's not much I can say about X/Y that isn't mad noises of excitement.

Re: Stuff that never felt right.

One thing that has been bothering me since the official release is the lack of sand and gravel ceilings in caves. Nowadays all that stuff falls immediately after it generates, which isn't nearly as fun as triggering it yourself.

I can recommend Thaumcraft - going into it, you only need to know the recipe for the starter wand and that you need to use a wand on a bookshelf. After that, you never have to look at an outside resource - everything you need to know is in the Thaumonomicon. Yeah, I really appreciate how self-conta...
