You can, unless that has been changed. Have to be a bit quick about it, but not too quick.
Dump the water on the ceiling or wall, you will have more time to reclaim.

Since someone already mentioned the professional make sure you see the Léon version.

it was done in 200 but 'the way of the gun' needs a mention.

Re: Getting REALLY Frustrated

All right, in relation to the early game difficulty, has anyone figured out the best way to get your first blaze rods? I haven't been able to figure out a way to conquer the nether fortresses with my puny early game tech. Between the wither skeletons and the blazes, those nether fortresses just see...

I Feel your pain, I am also getting frustrate at my deaths. Not the fact that I die or how I die but going back to wood puncher. So frustrated in fact that I depression quit (like rage quitting but with tears) most of the time, hell one time I decided to go fix a leaky toilet rather than deal with w...

Sprocket or Cog?

You could go the steampunk route and mash words together.

oh that was great...

Someone convinced him he should use the 8 blade windmill and he had to reposition it as one block was getting snowed on. Decided to do it at night and well... the good thing is he survived the creeper blast.

I should have assumed you had caught that even though it wasn't mentioned on the BTW forums. Sorry. So this post isn't a complete waste... This is my impressions of BTW as a player who hadn't updated since hardcore hunger was added. Most of this is just rehashing what other people have said so I wil...

Re: New Release! (BTW V4.84)

After a lengthy argument with my friend calling him stoopid for installing BTW wrong I noticed that the readme.txt file still says to use modloader.

3) Delete the META-INF folder in minecraft.jar (you should have already done this when you installed ModLoader)

Create books using scored/tanned leather

Currently we have to kill a fresh cow to make a book, please add the ability to create books (not high efficiency) using all sources of leather and not just raw unprocessed ones. This was changed in Version 4.70 - Removed the high efficiency book and item frame recipes using Tanned Leather, as that ...

I like that it is hard to spot. By the time you are digging through that level you shouldn't be scrounging for coal, if you are that hard up for coal use your kiln.

Re: Incredibly useful early-game builds

My early build is a twist on the basic Cactus wall and only requires Shears . I like to make my cactus wall 3 and entry points in the one wide sections around the perimeter. There I dig 4 blocks down and place a cactus with a vine trap at ground level, the mobs see it as a valid path but I know to j...

I actually started to strip mine with the lens, If you are plunged into darkness you know a mob is behind you. :) you can either back fill tunnels with cobble or block the entrance and not mine next to your mob spawner.

Cryptic messages when beacon starts

Something along the lines of the windmill, waterwheel, grindstone, bed, etc... A weak example of the one I am aware of, "You hear something that is not quite thunder in the distance..". I am behind letting people find out the side effects of each beacon, but give the player something to pl...

I found the nice open areas of a desert work best for me, for added bonus find a natural spring to fight around. That way if you are taking too much damage you can retreat tactically regroup.
