Re: New Release! (BTW 4.ABCFEFE) - NO SPOILERS
I've always had issues with some of my builds malfunctioning due to their size they would often cross into other unloaded chunks and just stop working. The changes you made to spawn chunks have been a godsend, everything just works now. Better Than Wolves continues to be the only reason I keep comin...

A better response would have been "In the game."FlowerChild wrote: You don't.
Anyway, I really like the changes aside from one because it messes with how I build. What made you decide on completely changing everything?

Re: The Feature Request / Suggestion Thread - LIMITED TIME O
The thing I have always wanted is a chunk-loader mechanism, something that keeps chunks loaded and updated while a player isn't in range of them. I build unreasonably large farms and machines that cross multiple chunks and it always upset me when they stopped working because I moved just out of rang...

I haven't played BTW in literally years but its looking like its a good time to get back into it. Melons and pumpkins were the easiest thing to automate, so I'm excited to see how systems will need to change to keep the process going. I'm glad you're still around and updating the mod, FC. If it wasn...

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road
I thought it was amazing, too. Tom Hardy did a fantastic job as Max and lives up to Mel Gibson's performance in the previous movies. At no point in the movie did I think that this Max was a different character. Tom Hardy really did his research on Mel Gibson's performance and nailed the character. F...

Hardcore hoofsies and the changes to Hardcore of Darkness have really made for a fantastic experience, both early and late game. Really cool stuff, its getting me into playing BTW again.

Try playing around with some of that magical floating gravel. :)
Re: PC Help
Whats your budget, Storm? Its been a while since I've farted around on PCPP, I could play around with a couple different builds for you. For example: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1Tczj could be tweaked a bit and is generally an OK build that can play most (if not all) games on Medium/high settings.

To the left is the building that will soon house a fully operational cow and pig farm capable of producing dung/tanned leather and tallow, and all the food I'll ever need. On the top floor are a wheat farm (for cows) and an incomplete carrot farm (for pigs) with 252 of each plant growing in them, wi...

And... I'm back - Yay! Congrats on the new build! :D It sucks that the GPU was a lemon. Inno3D doesn't appear to be available in the USA and as a result I don't have any information on weather or not the cards are any good. Your best bets for a nVidia GPU (or really any GPU) would be, EVGA, Asus, M...

STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl ($5), Clear Sky($2.49), and Call of Pripyat ($5) are all on sale right now as a part of the daily deal. Shadow of Chernobyl is one of the best shooters I have ever played, and is regarded as the best in the STALKER series. So if you only keen on getting one, get Shadow of...

Re: Overclocking, I'll be looking for 4.4 out of the processor and will be paying a little extra to get one guaranteed for 2 years stability from a specialist overclocking retailer at that rate - trust me, if I wasn't going to do that, I wouldn't get the unlocked processor nor such a high end coole...

Re: Laptop is dying, any help appreciated!
Regarding your motherboard, I check the price : 250€. I read a very good article a week ago in a hardware-specialized french magazine that said that with the recent generation of Intel processors, paying more than 100-150€ for a motherboard is non sens if you don't intend to seriously overclock you...

Re: Laptop is dying, any help appreciated!
I'm going to come back to your post quite a few times, I'm sure my selections will change! Glad I could help. :) Oh, one thing about ITX boards is that they only have one PCIe x16 slot. So that means you can only use one expansion card and nothing else. Which is why I mentioned the Asus Maximus 6 I...

Re: Laptop is dying, any help appreciated!
It seems this is the case - its such a pain, the motherboard is an upside down T shape, with two discrete graphics cards coming from the stalk of the T to the edge of the case, but removing the left one causes the machine to not boot and the right hand one to boot but with the issue - switching the...

Re: Laptop is dying, any help appreciated!
I don't know very much about laptops. But, from what I understand once hardware goes bad in a laptop there's nothing you can do about it. As for disabling the dead GPU, you can either disable it through AMDs Catalyst Control Center, or through Window's Hardware Control Panel. I highly recommend buil...

I think there might be a bug that causes volcano biomes to be the only one that is generated. I must have flown 1-2 km and it was nothing but volcano. Still happened when I used a seed.

Updated the OP with some of Syruse's biome images. Still the odd few biomes that are still without images but it certainly should give a good idea of most of the biomes :) So I did do a good enough job :) I think I'll do some more flying around today and try and find the remainder of the biomes., i...

Hello all! I did some flying around in creative mode and got 57 various screen shots of some of the biomes. I tried for 3 different screen shots of each biome I found, plus what ever else I found interesting. Note that I not all of the biomes in the mod. Feel free to use them in anyway you so choose...

Re: Computer Building For Dummies (Help Wanted)
I recommended getting the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO over the cooler you have selected. Or maybe even an all-in-one liquid cooling solution if you're going to be overclocking your processor. If you do go the overclocking route you may want to consider a higher end motherboard such as the ASUS P8Z77...
