I have no problems with this feature. I already avoid traveling through deserts to begin with because of how slow sand is, and if I really need to travel through one I can just place torches to both check for the holes and to mark out a safe path back.

As the subject says, companion cubes no longer rotate on turntables in the latest release. Torches attached to the sides still rotate around it and other blocks seem to rotate fine. If you think the BUD pistons are in the "bug category" there are also regular old dispenser timers, they're not perfect but they're still cheap and more effective than harvesting by hand.

Personally I have a moat surrounding my base that simply murders and collects from whatever happens to fall into it. Of course, if you have separate farms for passive and hostile mobs you won't have this problem but it'd be a nice feature to have for traps that catch both kinds of mobs.

As the subject says, I'd like to see bone meal being able to be rendered into glue the same way as unmealified bones. I see no reason why this shouldn't be possible and I imagine it'd be fairly easy to implement. Why would it be useful though? Currently leather, bones and arrows are mob-drops that s...
