[invalid] Hardcore Smelt

Bah... I do apologize, turned out I reported a bug in my own mod. I changed the furnaces so that replacing the item that is currently smelting resets the progress, and so it reacted to world load as well. Won't happen again. P.S. On a side note, currently furnace progress jumps around if you swap ra...

[invalid] Hardcore Smelt

Problem:
- after reloading the world, "fueled" time is incorrect (shorter)

Affects:
- singleplayer on reload, other cases unknown

How to reproduce:
- put 1 iron ore and 1 coal in the furnace
- wait a bit
- save and quit, load again
- wait: coal expires, iron isn't smelted

Re: Hardcore Spawn is finished

I must say I am glad I was playing with hardcore spawn in my recent play and learned to like it, now I'm not turning back.

Re: Onto the topic of Landmarks

I use dirt blocks on elevated places every now and then, two-three tall plus one-two pointing to the base, I use dirt half-slabs both to avoid jumping and to mark the place, if trees are rare, I chop off a block of wood for every tree near my path. If I get lost in snow biomes, I look if grass and f...

Re: Getting REALLY Frustrated

Just to try all the hardcore modes I've been avoiding, namely Hardcore Spawn and Hardcore Buckets, I've started a new game since BTW v4.85. I died on the stage of caving / gathering iron about 5 times, with having to punch wood, then managed to establish a base and get to the 30th experience level. ...

Re: New Release! (BTW V4.86)

Ravines look deep and meaningful, I enjoy it. http://i.imgur.com/kgZLBoOl.jpg (view in full size) (Hmm... now the crosshair looks a bit out of place when staring into the darkness) Edit: noticed another cool effect: deep down in the ravine someone walked over redstone ore and it started glowing very...

Just tested the mushrooms, they give 1/255 light indeed.

Re: New Release! (BTW V4.86)

I find the changes very fitting to the game, especially the darkness. I've always found moody setting to butcher light without providing enough darkness and bright being simply too bright. Now it's just perfect. As a side effect, mushrooms that give out light of 1 AFAIK, aren't visible anymore. EDIT...

Re: How To Install Better than Wolves using Magic Launcher?

If you read the readme.txt, you'd notice that it says "Compatible with Minecraft Version 1.5.2".
You are using Minecraft 1.6.1, here is the source of your problem.

My favorite fix is [MC-4631] - Lava decay fails to schedule block update
