Re: No more creepers? (Spoilers?)
Fresh install fixed my problems earlier today. I had been using the drag-and-drop method before and after the update the server I play on just didn't like me anymore--crash and exit. After figuring out multi mc (and a fresh install, by necessity, but still), it's working again. I think moving perman...

Mycelium doesn't spread on loose dirt
I'm finding that mycelium won't spread on grass or loose dirt, only regular dirt. Since grass spreads on loose dirt, I'm assuming this is a bug.

Re: New Release! (BTW V4.AACK) - NO SPOILERS
I've only just recently got back into BTW after years of MC burnout and I have to say that I appreciate your work on a level it's hard to put into words. BTW is my vanilla now. I selfishly hope you keep the updates coming and I'll be donating next payday. I can't imagine anyone not feeling that way...

Re: Amalga: Co-op - V4.A1 Humpdated Camel
You can always breed more to trade up to that point? Sure, if we want a system with which we can trade an average of 4 diamonds for an emerald block. The point was sustainability. Fill it with bookshelves and convert the innards to a library/laboratory. If you ignore the glowstone trades librarians...

Re: Amalga: Co-op - V4.A1 Humpdated Camel
I finished the church only to find it's completely useless. You can't make a priest-based emerald farm with just level 1's because once they're ready for the enchantment table they won't take anything else. Lot of effort down the drain. I can't tell whether I feel more stupid, or jaded. Every other ...

I updated map #25 around Puerto Del Sol, Solagracia, and Nocfactura, and added some roads to the maps around my vicinity. You can see my city, Serra's big blue roofs, and Galaxy's giant fields from space. :P http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp90/KerTank/rEdlX1h_edit1.png http://i400.photobucket.co...

Coo, new player.
I just watered an annoying enderman just to have him warp into my cowpen and subsequently get slaughtered by my cattle.

Re: Amalga: Co-op -Steel Surprise
This thread needs more activity. I try not to double post, but I can't help it this time. Phoenix's mobtrap at Tartarus is now functional for gold, blaze rods, magma cream, and wither heads. Needs some auto-smelting put in, but it has a decent output now. There's still a little room to expand it, bu...

I has a gift for the server.
I'll keep it at Puerto Del Sol until the current community one gets down to zero bars.

Re: Amalga: Co-op -Steel Surprise
Is there any mob that gives off slimy squishy sounds? Freaked out now.
Do emerald blocks do that? I found some emerald blocks.
EDIT: Oh, silverfish. Silverfish make that sound.
Do silverfish always inhabit extreme hills? Does that mean I'm near a stronghold?

Re: Amalga: Co-op -Steel Surprise
Antivirus strikes again. I am back. Update: My previous floating island idea is on hold as it's a bit too ambitious right now. I have the screws still. I decided Galaxy's and Serra's gorgeous bridge needs traffic, so I'm making my new base a stone city at the other end of it, keeping in mind the rai...

I just got my computer back.
I keep getting errors. Mostly socket write errors. Did something change? Do I need to update something? I did just update java.

Re: Amalga: Co-op - Always 100% survival
I spoke too soon. I was told the case was closing and ok, but, "soon" really means something different when you work for the justice system. I should not have underestimated their capacity for taking their damn sweet time.
I'll be on in a few weeks maybe.

Wood is a byproduct of farming saplings. If anyone has some spare saplings [oak/jungle]- I'm happy to trade you some wood (or rope). Exactly how many saplings do you want? I have 6+ stacks of oak I keep in case of a server-wide fire :P P.S. - I put the 3 stacks of screws in your metals chest Mors. ...

Re: Amalga: Co-op - Always 100% survival
I assume if the cloud layer is too low you're going for something flying/floating? It could be interesting to find an high altitude water source [mountain biome], and blast the land down- leaving a water tower suspended under your base. Indeed I am. The problem is, I want it big enough not only for...

Re: Amalga: Co-op - Always 100% survival
While I'm waiting for my computer, I was trying to flesh out my idea. The cloud layer is too low for the proportions I had in mind and fixing it means I'll need 3 stacks of screw pumps before I begin. After realizing just how much iron that is, I'm starting to have second thoughts about this particu...

Re: Stake and Hearty Stew
I suppose I should start using stakes. Looking at wire's bridge, it's one of the few aesthetic blocks I have yet to really discover it seems. I never make hearty stew. The bowls are one thing, and mushrooms and flour are another. I tend to use lots of wheat, and I've never had a good auto mushroom f...

I think I'm going to get my computer back soon. I might just want to start over though. I need something new to occupy my mind. What's been happening? What new communities exist now? Re: What infrastructure do you focus on?
This makes me realize I don't really spend a lot of time on infrastructure. At least, not in any way I can generalize. All of my builds are different, and each one has different needs. I don't always have multiple buildings above ground, so I don't always build roads per se. Whether I use aqueducts ...
