Re: 4.AFFFFFFF - Animageddon Spoiler Thread
Have you tapped into trades at all to supplement items? On my run just prior to the animal changes the trades were just a gate to the items I needed.
I wonder now if carful trading could net you the surplus of items needed to reach a combat inventory.

Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic
https://store.steampowered.com/app/784150/Workers__Resources_Soviet_Republic/ I tried this title out, a slower paced builder with interesting production chains and transport systems. Once it hits full release or sale I'd recommend grabbing it to enjoy the detail and atmosphere. It is early access an...

Re: Looking for help with the early game
I second Dawnraider. Get everything you can placed in the world, shafts, bricks, tools, camp fires with food, ovens, baskets, iron pieces, half slabs, unlit torches. You are going to die to chance encounters or workplace accidents without fail. Once you do die take a few days till the bug hits you a...

Sorry about the GC loss.
Wow! The best death stories! Remind me very much of my own workplace incidents; I don't have nearly the assortment you do, mine tend to revolve around hibachi mishaps :P
That sounds like and incredible seed especially with the fortress!

@Battosay This is just beautiful work on such a big scale! I see you could not resist that lava for a location! The flow redirect is nice! I especially like the looming torchlit scalpted hill with the perfect night time skybox. My bases make me feel happy but to see this build it is like your own bi...

Re: Satisfactory
NOooOoo not the epic store! Really though that is smart, better devs cut and the impulse buyers are more likely tied to fortnite due to youth. There are probably 15 games due this year I want. Tale of Ronin Deadstick Industries of Titan Uboat Woodzone Ect. I'll be sad if they all go epic store. A bu...

Re: Satisfactory
I am very excited but cautious about this one. Factorio is a feat in gameplay as much as optimization. However it was written was beautiful for how smooth it runs. On a small scale I really enjoy Stationeers that has dynamic atmosphere and energy system but there is not the crazy amount of items mov...

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I have seen nothing official for PC but some devs had work titles that listed "PC" as in porting ect. (They were quickly removing titles when pointed out) After the success of the multiple GTA V releases and online it would be silly not to make the PC sales too. So I'm done with the "...

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
There is a benefit to devs in knowing exact system specification to shape and mold their experiance around. If there was a more robust PC style system that was uniform in operation and had a massive ownership base I'd buy that over a counsel in a heart beat. I had been PC only since 97 but have to a...

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I'd be in the same boat but 3 years ago I needed a new DVD player and figured I might as well get something multipurpose. Now I could not see playing some titles on PC. I know I could just hook my PC to the TV but the ease of use and comfort of a console is very real. Only bad side some things do no...

Red Dead Redemption 2
I never buy AAA and seldom new releases, super hyped for RDR2. Things were looking good a few months ago and it just gets better. I was so so on GTA V years later on sale. What sold me was that I might recapture the total immersion I got from Fallout 4 on survival mode. The morbidity and risk/reward...

Re: Oxygen Not Included - by Klei
400 cycles and treadmills?!? How many dupes were you at :D (I have yet to go over 8) Deleting the treadmills too early has to be a common cardinal sin. Without system redundancy I have too frequently had my next big thing (oil, hydrogen, natural gas) have a hiccup; all the systems are so codependent...

Re: Oxygen Not Included - by Klei
Ahhhhhhhh! I have lost so much time the last few weeks to ONi. The recent additions to the end tech, a surface to the "asteroid" and duplicate morale are really satesfying. Keep telling myself not to play a ting until it is feature compete to avoid replay over and over but it hurts so good...

Re: Graveyard Keeper on PC
Bummer! I had just reached potions and found a few recipes, and the story up till now had been fun. That sucks if it goes bad. I had not even started on all the embalming work that looked good? See Stardew lost me at the half way because I could not stand to give anymore eggs to people or remember b...

Graveyard Keeper on PC
If you know Stardew Valley you know what Graveyard Keeper is like. Something about the macabre setting really drew me in and I grabbed it. The differences from Stardew are: -Farming is present but an equal partner to corpse management, preaching, science, mining and dungeon crawling. -NPC relations ...

I just got to my first wipe. Incredibly happy with how well done the caravans and other base locations turned out There is just so much depth to every action. The only issue is it can be tough to know what difficulty to set to maxamize the fun without going overboard. The story of my wipe starts wit...

No Mans Sky -Next- Update
I had NMS from a sale a while back and even at the reduced price was pretty dissatisfied. Testing out the update I am actually impressed! I would still say wait for a sale because the market is saturated with this style of game, many offering much more freedom. Here are the changes that really helpe...

Re: Playing BTW on hardcore
Most people play hardcore on other games to get a sense of thrill because the difficulty is just not there in regular play. With BTW since 2014 I'd say hardcore is not needed because a type of hard death is baked in already. In fact if you don't get to the point where 90% of your play is flawless in...
