Re: Twin Sheep?

Ménage à trois ;)

It's happened to me before, not so long ago either.

edit: I was referring to the sheep, of course...

edit2: ... er... I mean, the sheep in MC. Not me with two sheep. No no.

Re: Noir's Designs and Videos (Illogically Compact!)

Do you still take suggestions? I crave them. Suggestions as to how to improve your existing designs, or requests for new designs? I'm afraid that for anything you've made so far I have no suggestions for improvement whatsoever as they are all rather spiffing. Thank you! But if I may I'd like to mak...

Re: SSP world revert?

ah, I have both 32 bit and 64 bit versions installed (since chrome only seems to like 32 bit). Well that's interesting. How do you force windows to run MC with 64 bit then, or how do you check to see which java version it's using?

Can't wait to try this out later. Absolutely amazing, and I appreciate the movement pun (considering latest twitter escapades!)

Re: Flower's Dev Diary (Week of Feb 4th)

Ever so slightly off-topic (sorry), but I was mining around some bedrock-level lava pools yesterday and hit a random silverfish block. I didn't react fast enough and they (it?) knocked me right into the lava. Then hardcore spawn kicked in... -> middle of nowhere! Surprisingly, most fun I've had for ...

Re: BTW (almost) automated tower

The iron for your rendering process doesn't have to be a manual input; connect it to your mob farm. Zombies & skeletons often drop iron armour & weapons.

Re: SSP world revert?

I used to have a fairly ancient PC to play MC on and often had problems with progress not being saved when I quit. I'd often come into the game and noticed the last few things I'd done were... undone. Things in my inventory were missing. One occasion I'd found a couple of diamonds - I was dead happy...

Re: Vanilla Minecraft News Discussion

Are there any other online communities who express the same level of dissatisfaction with the way MC is turning out, or do the denizens of this forum simply have a more refined view on good game design? I have had a quick look through the minecraftforum.com forums but see little sign of dissent, not...

Blasting oil in vases not causing a chain reaction?

Hello lovely BTWers, Today I wanted to set up a chain reaction of vases containing blasting oil for a nefarious trap, but sadly only the vase that you hit goes bang. The resulting explosion breaks any vases close by but doesn't set off the blasting oil in them. Logically I would have thought the sho...

Re: Hardcore Endermen scared the crap out of me.

While on this topic: Could anyone confirm if Endermen aggro just because you visit the End? Dying does indeed cause endermen to loose aggro. They only aggro if you look at them. Its very easy to accidentally do that when switching dimensions as you have no idea if your pointer will land on one of t...

Re: flying mod

That somewhat reminds me of using concussion grenades in Team Fortress (Classic) to jump massive distances as a scout. Anyone here ever played TFC and remembers that bygone time? It was an "exploit"... but it was *so* much fun and nearly everyone knew how to do it. Rocket jumping in other ...

Regardless of politics, bonfire night has always been fun. I've missed it for the past couple of years since moving to Norway. More explosives/explosions planned soon in BTW makes up for it somewhat!

Re: Man the ramparts! (forum registration open)

In short -- thanks for letting me register and express my gratitude for making such a great mod for Minecraft. You've given me a reason (or several) to keep playing it. It's so much more of a game now.
