Re: New Release! (BTW V4.89PHILLIP)

-Removed the whole "healing potions hurt undead, harming potions heal them" thing from the game, as it was just hurting potion brewing overall as a system. The problem was that it turned healing potions into a "swiss army knife" where they would both help you and hurt a good por...

Re: New Release! (BTW V4.89999)

It's a shame I don't have lot of time to play games anymore, what with my new job and all. The spare time I do have I mostly fill with GTA V now. The funny things is that everytime I'm slightly annoyed at certain things in the game, I catch myself thinking: FC could've thought out a great solution f...

BTW LAN

Okay, so I've been talking about playing BTW with friends over LAN for a while now. Last week I had some of my friends over for a good old fashioned LAN party, and managed to get them to play BTW! Unfortunately, 4,5 days isn't enough time to really enjoy the effects of hardcore spawn, as we were pla...

Re: New Release! (BTW V4.891)

Wow, impressive changelog. Seems like a real challenge. There's one thing I'm dreading though, the amount of gold needed to craft a gearbox. It's an interesting change though, because it will force me to build more sources of power, as that will be much cheaper then just dragging miles of axles and ...

Re: Hardcore Spawn is finished

I think it's great that HC spawning is now non optional. It forces me to man up and stop being a pussy. I also think the soulsand tracking thingy is pretty interesting. Yes, it is a shame that you need to be pretty far advanced to have acces to it, but I think it also forces you to be extra extra da...

Re: The Discovery of Features (Potential HoD Spoilers)

I have this pretty old, but still very nice little Creative Cambridge Soundworks quadrophonic surround set. Surround sound is actually pretty well done in Minecraft, and those snarling wolves sounds you hear at "dread" freaked me out even in a relative safe environment. First I heard one i...

Re: The Discovery of Features (Potential HoD Spoilers)

If FC kills himself, I'll dig him up and rekill him. I'm already pissed off enough as it is by discovering all these interesting people/artists, and finding out that they are either already dead, or terminally ill. This has happened to me way too many times this year, and it makes me angry. FC had b...

Re: Why I love HC Bucket

If I could I'd make them prettier, but I can't really do that while I'm still struggling with food production :P Sounds like a good reason to advance up the tech tree! But seriously, early game builds are supposed to be a little ugly. If you could build giant palaces, underground cathedrals, or a r...

Re: Why I love HC Bucket

It is for this reason that I don't personally really like the floating dirtplatforms. I do use them when I have no other choice however, because they're very user friendly; but they look like sh*t. I get rid of them as soon as I can. I prefer to find a high water source and dig and build a channel ...

Re: Why I love HC Bucket

it's likely becoming non-optional very shortly ;) Good, glad to hear it! When I was introduced to it I was skeptical, but that quickly changed to preffering HC bucket, but not minding it being turned off. Now I don't want to play with it turned off anymore! I have always liked making villages and c...

Why I love HC Bucket

Aside from the awesome waterways you get to build, HC bucket also helps you to avoid becoming a cheating scumbag. Or that's how I view stuff like this now anyway,.. I6T54s8kpWQ I really used to like Sethbling a lot, but that has kind of lessened. Maybe it's because he seems to post lots of exploits ...

Even though it's not a steam sale, I'm still going to go ahead and post this. GOG.com is offering Torchlight for free for a limited time. Stuttery gameplay when near automation.

Whenever I am near automation, which isn't very sophisticated (just many axles, gearboxes, turntables etc.) since I'm fairly inexperienced at it, I am experiencing stuttering behaviour. The FPS counter shows that my FPS doesn't go below 45ish and even at 100 fps I'm still experiencing it, albeit a b...

I also got Proteus with the Humble Bundle, and tried it out right away. It was fun at first, discovering that different objects make different sounds. Re: New Release! (BTW V4.82) - NO SPOILERS!!!!

Those changes to wood seem incredibly awesome! I love that you can now use bark and sawdust as fuel. In the early game you won't be needing it anyway, and using planks as fuel seemed a real waste. That's no longer the case now =D Now to find out what those wolves are so good at now!
Thank you FC!
