Sounds like some sort of corruption. If you spawned in the coordinates where you had last been, but the environment has reverted, it seems that only partial data has been saved to the file. Unless the autosave feature keeps a history of 2 or more saves, there probably won't be a workaround. Alright...

Yes, I had BtB installed, and I had the world with it installed.

Well, a majority of those who play Minecraft usually have xp farms and this is an issue. Did you do a survey? Seriously though I can't see FC considering this worth a base class edit... No, but in a majority of pics/videos I have seen, I've seen XP farms in them (should have rephrased the suggestion)
