Re: New Release (BTW V4.16)

I imagine looking through Ender Spectacles to be something like putting on Pyro's mask... But in all seriousness FC, great work on all the recent updates, I don't even have time to play one for a day before the next is out. :) One thing that has my interest is the surprisingly low cost of the new go...

Re: Lifewaters BTW Server: lifewater.kicks-ass.net (whitelis

I was playing on the server earlier today, it twas pretty enjoyable. We all came together to make a base and everything, everyone pooled resources and all set to work, chopping wood, mining, building, storing, etc. I've never seen a server with such a fun and cooperative community. I'm a little conc...

I'm Captain Obvious, not Captain Oblivious. Famous last words. This is great news, not only can I pimp my carpets with trippy colours, but now my ceilings. Love it! :D Scrapping Overworld netherwart, of course. It's Nether wart, not Overworld wart. Then again maybe mojang will just rename it to War...

Re: New Release! (BTW V3.95)

Very nice work keeping on top of the bug report hurricane. It seems like lately much of my available play time is spent updating. :) Hopefully I can find time to test out some of these fancy features. -Added Hardcore Chickens. I'll bet this is included in there somewhere. Although i'm sure there's p...

Re: 1.3 dilemmas

it also takes care of past problems with people occasionally falling through Cauldrons & Crucibles while walking over them. I always thought this was intentional, it makes sense given that walking over an open object would allow you to fall into it, as well as forcing the player to look both wa...

Re: Anchors in different locations

A multi-tier sobering process eh? I can relate. As for anchors not popping off that's interesting I didn't know that, i'll have to play around with them a bit more when I get the chance. Sadly the wiki is not very detailed with these kinds of little things, which can seemingly make interesting aesth...

No.

Also, encouraging torrents of vMC content is disgusting, and should be seen as the above.

Re: I hit Update. Is there an official course of action?

On Windows you can go to folder properties and select previous version, choose one you before the incident and select restore. These previous versions are made when your computer makes a system restore point so it could be a hit or miss.
Why don't you have a saved backup jar btw?

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's...amazing Top one is the end, which appears to be losing/gaining it's souls/fire/energy from the red nether. I remember FC saying something about how redstone was just souls or whatever bleeding through from the nether, which explains the red going from the nether int...

I'm still not used to using BD's in my redstone, the main thing I use them for is as flip flops, small roms, and a few nor latches, simple stuff really. These things sure are amazing for redstone, dang. <3

Re: Base-4 with a BD

The output with the wool slab is of particular interest to me, is this a unique property of wool slabs or does it work with vanilla slabs too, and why does it behave the way it does? If it acts like a full block in relaying the signal above shouldn't it relay it down the far end too?

Re: Buildcraft wrench in BTW

If I recall correctly, FC isn't a fan of using alternate controls like "shift-clicking" and likes to stick to the basic Minecraft controls. Found it, you're right. However, regular clicking just changes the delay of the repeater and adding a new item(it wouldn't use a block id because it'...

Re: Buildcraft wrench in BTW

Ok I'll admit jumping all over the place, looking like a bird with a rock in it's foot, trying to properly align a piston can be a bit of a bother. I would rather see the ability to manipulate them with bare hand than with a wrench-like item, but whatever's easier. I'm having trouble thinking of any...
