Re: Silverfish help [spoilers?]

I was under the impression an obsidian beacon (or at least some specific beacon) was needed as their breeding was a side effect of that beacon. I could be entirely wrong but based on FC's dev thread with the time lapse he had an obsidian beacon and in 4.55 I think with the slight coding problem some...

Re: S tarting Over, again

Well, for the second time in 6 months I've lost a hard drive on my computer, and likely, my current Minecraft world. Thinking about starting a new world, I realized that I pretty much start all my worlds the same way. Spawn new worlds until I find an interesting one, build some tools, plant some se...

Re: Steam Sales

I hate all of you. I saw this thread and then went on steam and then bought Don't Starve, Sang-Froid, and Gratuitous Space Bottles (for only 5$ I couldn't pass that up) And someone posted Prison Architect in this forum a while ago and I looked into that. Probably another game I'll pick up. I only go...

I'm not 100% certain but try removing the block above the actual plant and see if that fixes it.

Re: Lens not tripping detector block

That is what I'm saying but if you break the beam anywhere else it trips the detector. Its just the spot directly in front of it where the status remains unchanged.

Lens not tripping detector block

I noticed today that the detector block will not trip from a lens if you pass immediately in front of the detector. I made a quick vine farm and couldn't figure out why it wasn't collecting. Once I moved the detector block a space from where the wine was growing immediately in front of it it was fix...

Re: Aquaduct designs

Not to go too off topic but, ImSheroPsu those black lines between blocks are not supposed to be there, they are the result of the fact that the configuration of your videocard is wrong. If i recall correctly its an antialiasing issue. Your game should look better. Back on topic i recently completed...

Re: Aquaduct designs

One I'm currently working on. I redirected a mountain spring back into my base and use it for some small automated farms inside my mountain base. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b367/ImShero/2013-02-19_204004_zpsacfe2b79.png Then I pumped the water up through the inside of the base to get to what ...

Re: Help with Auto cart loader

I believe I have refined and compacted a design. Used in conjunction with Deli_SK's cart unloader seen here I have created a continuous loop that will shuttle products from a farm or mob trap to a central sorting facility. The only thing I may wish to pursue beyond this is possibly using a waterless...

Re: Help with Auto cart loader

I'm gonna mess with it while I get drunk. I'm sure wiring this system will go well. If I get something down I'll post the updated world here. Thanks again!

Re: Help with Auto cart loader

I need to space it out a little more... One idea led to another idea and then the next thing I knew everything was crammed together. I did try out moving the track with a sticky piston and I think that will do the trick. I just need to get a little more space built into my setup. In the actual appli...

Re: Help with Auto cart loader

Any sort of pulse limiter between the hopper and powered rail. Turns on when the hopper fills, sends a pulse to the track (use a limiter design that allows a long enough signal or extend the signal with a max delay repeater if its only powering a single cart on a single powered rail piece), limiter...

Re: Help with Auto cart loader

No problem. I've never shared a world download before. What should I use to share it?

edit* That's a thought. I haven't tried pushing a rail with a sticky piston yet. I'll try that when I get home and see how it works out.

Re: Help with Auto cart loader

Correct. The problem is the rail staying powered but it only stays powered because the hopper is full. I was trying to have the cart send off when the hopper fills up. Since the hopper stops dropping items before the cart launches it is still full and the current travels down to the booster rail. Do...

Help with Auto cart loader

So I am trying to build an automatic minecart loader in conjunction with a cart emptier that then sends the cart off and then it returns empty. This is what I have worked out. Don't mind my mess of wiring. Its mostly my tinkering but the only problem I've had is that when the cart returns, because t...

Basically, I don't desire to get rich off my efforts, just be able to get by so that I can work on what I love full time. I'm no where near building a SFS beacon but being an avid RL gardener. If something is called blight. Assume it will wreak havoc on the ecosystem. I would be highly cautious with it.

I just watched a let's play video of don't starve and I hope its the darkness. It will be awful and fun at the same time.

Sadly I'm sure it'll be enough to keep me up when I get home from work and make me regret a long shift tomorrow.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. Re: Pistons no longer work on hemp?

I'll try that!!

I always used to use just a plain piston on the actual plant top. I guess something has changed in the last six months to alter that.
