Re: Considering accepting donations

I think you should go for it personally. Considering that if you have to put up with a lot of crap on a certain day(s), donations can go towards a nice cold one to help you chill at the end of said day ;) Given the time and effort you've put into this, I can't see reasonable people getting up in arm...

Re: Unable to craft bellows

Oh my god....I can't believe how stupid I am....

You're a champion, thanks mate. It's been that long since needing to use a belt I'd forgotten about the existence of them, and assumed straps were the thing.

Well I'm sufficiently embarrassed lol. Thanks again Urian

Unable to craft bellows

Since updating to 2.90 I've been unable to craft bellows, I already have one in use and it still works perfectly. I've even moved it away to use elsewhere. But when I put all the right pieces in place in the crafting cube for a new set of them the "output" (for lack of a better word) squar...

Re: New Release! (Version 2.90)

All the other recipes work with no problems since I've updated. I'll do modloader and forge again for the hell of it :P Edit: Still not making the bellows, I'll keep fiddling around though and hope for the best. Odd thing is I haven't altered anything. It wouldn't have anything to do with not instal...

Re: New Release! (Version 2.90)

Yep they were panels, freshly cut on the saw from planks...not sure why it's not working then! I'll restart and check again. Edit: Still not working, will try reinstalling BTW for good measure. Edit#2: Still nothing, and the Bellows class file is definitely in the folder. I already have a bellow wor...

Re: New Release! (Version 2.90)

This may be me not realising on an updated recipe, but is anyone else finding that the bellows recipe on the recipe guides doesn't work? As in at the top, 3 wooden panels, beneath that 3 tanned leather, and below that, gear, then a belt, than another gear. Apologies if this is a non-issue, but i'm a...

Re: New Video! (Factory Farming)

A very grim, eye opening documentary....I'm sick to my very core at the atrocities we must commit to further ourselves.

Those poor donuts never hurt a fly!

On a more serious note though it's pretty damn impressive man, I like the simplicity of sorting between where the meat goes, it's nice!

Re: Protecting a windmill from rain

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's a much simpler solution. Just build your windmill on a desert terrain. It never rains on Desert biomes. Strikes me that's a rather inconvenient solution unless you started near, or have your base very near a desert biome...unless you have an abunda...

Re: Protecting a windmill from rain

The fitting of a water wheel seems to have changed since I last used them, can't seem to mount it on an axle regardless of how much space there is around it. Anyone know what the new conditions for fitting it are?

Re: Protecting a windmill from rain

Got the gearbox hooked up correctly now to disengage in the rain, cheers lads. Also, I may just replace the trapdoors with pistons to seal the gap, I recently lost half my house (and all my mossy cobble, so no BDs yet sadly!) when I tried to re-download my JAR file. It may not be necessary but I kin...

I didn't actually know you could do that, do you just lead the redstone to the gearbox?

Protecting a windmill from rain

Firstly I apologise if the answer or solution is painfully obvious but I'm at a bit of a loss at the minute! In a nut shell, I built a windmill, but built a wooden structure around it to stop the gearbox from breaking when it rains. I think I remember reading that the windmill requires 4 blocks of f...

Re: Better Than Wolves: Saving Chunks?

Thanks for clearing that up urian!

I'd figured that was probably it, but was worried about the lack of other's mentioning it.

I even tried redownloading the bin folder to fix it, and came back to a half destroyed house! :( Thankfully it was backed up! :)

Re: BTW always crashes minecraft [HELP]

I'm now getting the third error too, i probably stupidly accepted the update to 1.7.3, which i'm now regretting. I removed the META-INF file in minecraft.jar and then put in modloader and BTW for good measure in case anything had been altered by the update. So i'm wondering, if i clear my bin folder...

Re: Your most misguided building venture?

I don't have pictures of it, but I built an apartment building. It was a good size( like 100x100x3 stories.) It was completely made of wood and I decided to build a fire place. It burnt 90% of the building down Haha that made me lol! I feel your pain though, but on a much smaller scale...wooden gua...

Your most misguided building venture?

Whilst having a look at people's creations, it hit me that we generally only share our success stories (for obvious reasons). But why not our disasters or mishaps? At the very least for comic value ;) My worst idea so far was a glass library of sorts within my enclosure, but blanketed by lava on all...
