Awesome. Appreciate you all. I’m at work currently but read through everything. Seems like I’m trying to gather too much too quick based on feedback. I’ll keep working on it and limit my jumping. Hopefully I’ll be able to report back with progress soon.

I have the turntable and a wool block on top w/ a torch on the side. How do I fix this problem? I've tried destroying the turntables but nothing. I noticed I had to remove one of the redstone torches on RenEvo's firing system to get the stoking to work correctly but it's only working for one of the ...

That was my thought, and one of the reasons I didn't attach any Arcane Scrolls to squid. Given squid farms currently just happen accidentally as you play, it would have just been handing out a free scroll that you'd inevitably collect as you got the others. I think that's the sorter DocM is basing his off of. It's pretty excellent, I would have NEVER thought of sorting out mobs like this. Some really good ideas are coming up in this thread though, I can't wait to see Battosay crush this challenge haha.

I haven't started on sorting mechanics but I rather like the idea of a variety of mob farms, both passive and agressive, material farms, etc. Perhaps rather than the all or nothing we can start thinking of possibilities / situations that could affect our current systems, causing them to become more ...

One thing that jumps to mind is baby animals falling into an animal den after birth, which is usually a bit crowded if the adults don't get out quick enough. Though you've also stated before that adding collision damage can be used as an exploit - essentially replacing saws with mobs stuck in a pit...

Well, iron golems *do* have a unique scroll assigned to them. There's just a bug at present (already fixed for next release) that causes it to apply to snow golems as well. I've yet to build an iron golem farm myself though, so if I undertake that process myself, I may come up with additional ideas...

@Battosay: Do you game on your laptop? One of the reasons why I am considering a desktop now is my mac laptop starts sounding like a jet engine ... sometimes even w/ minecraft. I would be really concerned with a laptop running something like BF3. I have other reasons for a desktop but I'm a bit curi...
