Re: How to get noticed by girl, serious.
I can attest to the unavailable thing being strangely attractive to women. Since I have moved out of my parents house I have had absolutely no time to pursue a relationship, and I have had three different girls ask me out, and several more who were interested...

A series of block dispensers filled with companion cubes on a redstone loop is a much nicer sound IMO.Rianaru wrote:Should have baked it before and had it powered for the ambience.morvelaira wrote:I'll bake the cake. *waits for bloodshed*

Re: Just got back from a Real Cave System
I once visited the shasta caverns in CA. Caves are absolutely fascinating to me. Man, watch out for Creepers . . . This makes me think Minecraft should have stalagmites and stalactites. You know, other than just cubes that happen to protrude. Something like flowers on the surface, a 2D-sprite. There...

Re: Tales of Woe: how has a feature of BTW killed your steve
It had just started raining one night as I was returning to my base, and so I dashed off to my windmill to turn off the gearbox. I climbed out onto the roof and swithed the lever. Since I was up there I decided to watch the storm for awhile. In only a couple of seconds of standing there I was struck...

Guilty as charged. Never... never link me to anything on Wikipedia. It will waste an hour+ of my time as my stupid brain gets distracted by every little bit that is interesting. God forbid I find two things interesting in one Wikipedia article... open new tab, different Wiki article in each... lath...

I like the skywalk thing you have going there. As for the rest of the architecture nothing really stands out to me except your library which I really like.
I also like your use of logs and wood. not something I typically use and I must say you have done a tasteful job with it. good job.

Poetry Sharing Thread
Awhile back there was an attempt at poetry tag on these forums, it died a horrible slow death. The reason for this was that it depended on certain people posting in a certain order, a pipe dream really. So I have started this thread as general discussion/sharing/critiquing of poetry. No rules other ...

I am with you there. at the moment they kinda suck. I would think that it would be pretty simple for them to be able to take up at least four blocks total, that would be a useful map.Panda wrote:Am I the only one who feels that maps should be I don't know, around 3 times bigger?

Money talks. Have you donated? That really has nothing to do with yourself as a forum member. Drawing attention to the fact that you have given money is pretentious. Re: Tales of Woe: how has a feature of BTW killed your steve
I was building my first sky trap out of wood yesterday. It was almost functional when a skeleton shot me through a missing block. The arrow sent me plummeting down straight into the massive lava flow next to my base. I lost all my stuff including all my dung and tanned leather. I ran out of my hous...

and here i was about to make refrence to the matrix... its sad that what all the smiths are saying is true... the human mind just cannot accept a utopian society, without competition, struggle, or so called "evil", the mind rejects it as false reality I'm pretty sure Smith doesn't say tha...
