Star Citizen's persistent universe has a new head

8dL3nrrj2ZA Being kind of a noob when it comes to early game industry stuff (prior to 2000 ~, which is not that early, I know^^) I had never heard of this guy before but it sounds like he knows his stuff (I realize this is the purpose of the video). I'm particularly interested in the fact that he h...

He'll be fine. I won't be around this place again, most lilkely, therefore no mobs will spawn and kill him. Although... If I'm not around, will he cease to exist? Oh god... There is no way to save him... Why..... No! He will be frozen in space and time, waiting (well, as much as one can wait when n...

But his fate is sealed! It will only take one stroke, from you or one of Steve's fellow monsters to precipitate it. Don't you want him to be skinned by a merciful hand, rather than by a hateful one?

Hardcore sinkhole it, and it will become "Driven-over-but-still-standing Mount Capuchin"

Re: Mojang's updating/patching pattern in general

Well, the thing is that sometimes fixing something means breaking other things. This is a fact. Fixing bug is rarely easy, especially with such a large code base like the one minecraft has. However, generally, you go and fix those new bugs before releasing it into a proper version of the program ...

Re: Transporting villagers (spoilers)

The crazy guy I pay with, hmanipsalam on this forum, just dug a near bedrock tunnel 4k blocks long to our base...
Ended up with quite a lot of diamonds (~a stack) and other stuff. Took him a loooong time though.

But hey, he's crazy regarding those things...

I love German so much.
First language I learned, never regretted it. And I for one think it is a really nice language to listen to (well, depends of the accent ...).

Damn, looks like I got it way easy then. Will definitely have to start a new world to get the full experience :) Oh yeah, that's for sure. You might even want to tweak some of the world gen options, as by default I find that enemy base are very scarce. The direct consequence being that I really did...

In the second part of their conversation Grum sais they will drop multiplayer support for older version in the future. Meaning people won't be able to log in on the servers. This would kill multiplayer btw :( Well I think that the 'online-mode' option in the server.properties file would allow conne...

On the contrary, I bought it last Thursday and by Saturday I had already played 10h with it. And I'd say that I'm in the middle top of the technology tree. I really enjoy it and find it quite addictive, mainly because of the research system, which pushes you to wait for a bit until the current resea...
