Re: A redstone block
Well, since we're on the topic of redstone functionality... How feasible would it be to have a redstone block activate all devices within a certain radius? It does simplify a few redstone devices, for better or for worse. For example, making a 3X3 square of hibachis. It's difficult for many players...

Re: Disabling or limiting jumping on baby animals
I like this idea.
And if you don't know how you would filter it then have a diagonal water stream with a 1 block high wall. The baby animals wouldn't be able to get over the wall but the adults could. At least that's what I envisioned. I'm sure Battosay will have a video up soon if this gets added.

Re: Block dispenser sends out redstone signal when full.
You're right. It wouldn't work. Regardless, I won't create a "don't suggest a feature you know won't work" rule for the subforum, as I think everyone else already has that figured out. You could have it output the signal to a redstone wire below the BD. That way it wouldn't trigger itself...

Re: Replace bricks with something else as hopper filler
Bricks get stuck because they are too bulky? Is that good enough? FC has said that he would rather have gameplay over realism and vines do work pretty much just as well but I'm not sure it would be worth him changing. All it would really do is make the people who are already using bricks to switch t...

Re: Sugar donuts
While the idea sounds interesting, I feel it would be much better suited to alchemy than donuts. Making more varied foods doesn't seem to add much to the game in general, and after checking out the donuts, I don't think anyone would use them again Isn't that what people do now? I can't even remembe...

Re: Eating stacks of donuts
Well, you can eat a doughnut every time your hunger goes below the regen limit (ie 9), and not waste any food. If you try to do that with pork chops you'll waste three of the four hunger points, effectively reducing the length your food lasts for. Obviously having X pork chops is better than having...

Re: The End of Minecraft
Theoretically wouldn't it make it so all mods could be compatible? and also so it doesn't break them on new updates? That would certainly be nice, but it has nothing to do with what Notch has announced for the mod API. It's not a magic bullet. Most people probably won't even notice the difference b...

The End of Minecraft
In Minecraft 1.9 Pre-release 6 there is now an end of the game. I killed the dragon and just read the story and the credits. It somehow seems sad now that there is an end to Minecraft, almost like its over. Just feels weird...

Re: A terrain block that would spawn hostile mobs
I think having maybe one biome more likely to spawn hostile mobs or having them only in certain areas and not being able to pick them up would add more ingenuity in having to try to base your traps in specific areas for the best effect. You would have to make it balanced enough to make it worth it ...

Re: Why Flowerchild hates wolves
The story of why Flowerchild hates wolves is a very sad story. You see, Flowerchild didn't always hate wolves. He used to have a pet wolf of his own. Then one day, it turned on him. Flowerchild was a small boy at the time. He was a good little boy. He loved his parents, did his homework, and took g...

Your realize the machine is actually a block dispenser and you get sucked into it. You see a wonderful dimension filled with blocks and you become a block and enter that blocky world with all of your blocks that you had inside you and you use blocks to make bigger blocks. Block.

Pizza isn't really necessary as there are already plenty of food sources.
although, it would be nice to have an upgrade to donuts. (besides producing foul food)

iron ingots to iron blocks
lapis lazuli to lapis lazuli blocks
