Re: Yany's Stuff & Things Addon v1.1.0 for BTW CE 1.3.4 - Now with Harderercorer Spawn!
Thank you for this add-on! I have been playing with the BTA, Deco, and this add-on fyi. The death changes were what drew me to this mod at first. A hardcore spawn is already hard enough and with the loss of the valuable items you were carrying was too much for me. I would be tempted to save scum in ...

Re: 4.B00 - Vegehenna Spoiler thread
Has anyone figured out how to get wheat seeds? I've been using surplus old seeds, converting them to wheat seeds, to start a new wheat farm, but I haven't gotten a single seed from it. I've harvested over a dozen so far with no luck. Also, does the wheat plant stop growing when you harvest its top? ...

I'm trying to apply this design for my own nether mob trap but the redstone torch in red keeps powering the piston below it. Is that right or should I have another solid layer in between?

That's normal vanilla behavior. You can also make smooth sandstone by putting ordinary sandstone in a 2x2 grid.

Re: Hardcore Buckets Option removal discussion
On the server I play on, I have a reed farm scaled on a mountain slope which heavily uses moveable water. The only thing is I never finished an expansion of it. The move to HC Buckets wouldn't bother me too greatly, and if you decide to do so it would just kick me into finishing the project. Having ...

That's a bit odd. I haven't heard of anyone hitting the end yet, and I'm sure we were going to plan an event where we all could go to the end together for the dragon There was me, Life, Kai, nazo, razar and i think ability there to kill the dragon. So there was a sizeable group there although it wa...

Re: Multiple linear turntable woes...
Maybe before you could just try a line of repeater going to each of the Gear Box that are right under the Turntables (so in the back of your picture). Send a redstone signal to turn them all of, then start them all at the the time. It should tell you if it's a Timing synch issue. If not, maybe just...

I must be cursed or something since this is the second time a change has broken my automatic breeding/wheat farm while i was in the process of making it. Luckily i didn't put in the water flow yet and after an hour or two trying convulated ways to get the water flows to work, I discovered I could ju...

Re: Your Choice to Stop?
I'm partial to mountains. Since I like having towers that jut out of mountaintops. I would love to have a base on a mountainous island but those are few and far between so I've never settled one and I'm not the kind to have multiple bases in a single world.

Re: Sharing useful builds that get the job done
Damn man. I wouldn't call that simple or easy. That deserves it's own post with a more detailed tutorial. I'm kinda awestruck. I'm flattered. The biggest thing with my design was figuring out that you can use sand to flush out the items and that all of the turntables need to be turned on and off at...

Re: Breeding Farm Help
Ok I figured it out. I instead opted to alternate the pigs and cows as shown in the picture. Apparently, they still get distracted from the diagonal BP's, So I just have to activate each column at separate times, but everything seems to be working out. They don't seem to be that close imo, but what ...

Re: Breeding Farm Help
I can't really see the placement of your animals from the pictures, so I have to take a guess. Are your animals all breed at the same time? And how far are the breeding pairs apart from each other? If yes and they are relatively close, then it's possible that they fall in love with an animal from a...

Hey guys, I'm currently building a breeding farm, but for some reason I can't get my breeding partners to actually mate. I have it set up so that a dispenser shoots out wheat to the breeding partners, and I know that they eat it since they all enter love mode, but only 1 to 3 breeding partners out o...

Re: Automatic Gravel/Sand/Flint Producer
Instead of using BDs I went with multiple cobblestone generators that create the cobble on the spot. Plus there isn't any complicated redstone circuitry :)

I don't even have dynamite automation yet in my main world, but 3.7 has got me thinking gravel/sand automation. http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/2369/20120531010948.png Basically, I have cobblestone generators on 4 sides with pistons pushing the cobble towards the center in a 3x3 cube where they are...

Re: Looking for a compact design for a 9x9 wall 'o saws
Lurker me posted this a while ago, But here is my extendable design for a wall of saws, this one is 5x5, but a 9x9 would work with this as well. I don't think you can get this anymore compact than it is now. http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb268/dilusi0nal1/2011-10-06_235414.png http://i206.photo...

I don't know about anyone else, but I have a hard time playing minecraft with sprint mapped to double tapping W, since I always unintentionally sprint when building. Re: Better Than Traps
I believe this design is infinitely extendable, plus it's only powered by one power source. All you pretty much do is connect the outer gearboxes to the next inner layer, and keep doing this until you reach the center. You can also create a pit composed of saws on the floor and walls if you want. ht...
