Rotten Flesh are scraps of perished meat dropped by Zombies and Zombie Pigmen. While those with a strong stomach can try to eat it to restore 1.5 shanks, it has an 80% chance of causing food poisoning for 30 seconds, making you more hungry and unable to eat food. It is typically used to bait Fishing Rods, but has other crafting applications.
