Raw Fish
Raw Fish are uncooked fish that are obtained when using a baited Fishing Rod on a large body of water, such as a lake or the ocean. The catch rate depends on the time of day, weather, and phases of the moon, and is described in more detail in the Fishing Rod page. Alternatively, engaging in "Redneck Fishing" and throwing a lit stick of Dynamite into a large body of water will harvest large quantities of fish. Raw Fish cooked in a Brick Oven or Cauldron becomes Cooked Fish, which can be eaten as Food or used to create Chowder in a Cauldron.

Taming
Raw Fish can be given to Ocelots by right clicking to give a one third chance to tame them, similar to using Bones on Wolves. This process turns them into domesticated Cats, which can be bred by giving a pair of cats more Raw Fish.
