Iron Bars are panels made from Iron Ingots that function as a sturdy material that can still be seen through, similar to Glass. They are also found in Blacksmith buildings of Villages, or Strongholds, and can be used as a filter for the Hopper. Iron Bars can also be melted down in a Crucible.
