Potions
Potions are magical liquids brewed in Glass Bottles that confer a wide variety of positive and negative effects. They are made by filling a Glass Bottle with Water and various ingredients combined on a Brewing Stand, with different ingredients providing different effects. Other ingredients can also be brewed with existing potions customise the properties of potions further, such as increasing their duration or turning them to throwable Splash Potions.

Base Potions
There are two types of base potions: The Awkward Potion and the Mundane Potion. Awkward Potions are made from adding Nether Wart to a Water Bottle and can be used as an ingredient to create every type of potion. Mundane Potions are inferior base potions made from using any other ingredient described in this page and can only be used to create the Potion of Weakness and its direct variants. Base potions by themselves have no effect when drunk.

Name | Ingredients | Input » Output | Duration | Effect | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Potion of Invisibility | Venom Sack, Potion of Night Vision |

Witch Wart
Witch Warts will extend the duration of Primary and Secondary potions by 8/3 the duration of base. Note that this has no effect on Potions of Healing and Potions of Harming, as they have an instant effect. Witch Warts will cancel out the potency effect of Soul Flux.
Name | Ingredients | Input » Output |
---|---|---|
Extended Potion | Witch Wart, Any Potion (Not Harming or Healing) |
Soul Flux
Soul Flux will double the potency of Primary and Secondary potions, but it will halve the duration of base. Note that this has no effect on Potions of Fire Resistance and Potions of Night Vision, as they cannot be more effective. Soul Flux will cancel out the effect of Witch Warts.
Name | Ingredients | Input » Output |
---|---|---|
Potent Potion | Soul Flux, Any Potion (Not Fire Resistance, Slowness, Weakness, Invisibility or Night Vision) |
Gunpowder
Gunpowder, when applied to any potion, including extended or potent potions, will convert it into a Splash Potion. Splash potions are throwable and will instantly apply its effect to any players, mobs or animals within range when it lands. Hit targets further away from its splash radius will have a reduced duration, or a reduced potency in the case of Potions of Healing or Potions of Harming.
Splash Potions of Healing are recommended for throwing directly at the ground in order to instantly restore health in a fight without a drinking animation. Alternatively, Splash Potions of Harming and Poison are effective area of effect weapons, but be careful that you are not caught within the splash radius.
