Glass Panes are transparent blocks which can be used as an alternative to Glass blocks, with the same texture. They connect to adjacent panes, much like Iron Bars, Wicker Panes and Fences, and can be used as more efficient material for windows than entire blocks of Glass. Glass panes are used for the windows of villages. Much like Glass, they are brittle and cannot be picked up again once placed, unless with a Pickaxe with Silk Touch.
