Cake is a delicious sweet Food that heals .66 Shanks or 2 Fat rolls if you are full, desired by Humans and Cows alike. It is baked from its raw form, Cake Batter, either in the Brick Oven or Kiln. It is the only edible block - all other food items must be held in the hand and right-clicked to consume them, with each cake providing 6 slices. Cake cannot be eaten while being held - it must be placed on a suitable block first.

It is especially useful as a way to breed two cows, and make more animals for your farms.

Breeding

Feed two cows a cake and allow them to approach one another to create a new baby cow. They will not be able to breed for a while, but a baby cow will be able to breed immediately when it becomes an adult.
