Cactus
A Cactus is a spiky green plant that is found naturally in Deserts. Cacti can grow up to three blocks high, and can be easily harvested with any Axe, though they can be manually stacked to greater heights. When any player, mob or animal touches a cactus, it will receive half a heart of damage every 0.5 seconds, and items will be destroyed.
Farming
Although Cacti can be found naturally growing on sand, they must be replanted in Planters, and require empty spaces on all horizontal sides. Bone Meal does not work on cacti and won't speed their growth, and they do not need sunlight.
When the spot a cactus is placed in becomes unsuitable, such as when a block is placed next to them or the supporting cactus or Planter is broken, the cactus block and any above it collapse into blocks that can be collected and placed again. Combined with Hoppers, allows for a relatively automation challenge compared to other plant types.
Unlike many other plants, Cacti do not suffer from Weeds.
